The staff of this hotel are well versed with the area and can offer suggestions. They are courteous, can strike a conversation without being obtrusive. The location was fantastic and close to the shopping areas along the Oberoi Street. It is also quite centrally located if you want to venture off to the other areas such as Ubud, Uluwatu as this location seem to be equidistant to both areas. We loved our stay there. I just hope they are able to maintain the facilities. It is just two mont.
all reviews » Excellent Hotel , good service and great location.Room was very spacious , however , the view onto what looked like a bomb site was not good.The roof pool was excellent as was the breakfast.The staff were all friendly and we liked the entrance to the Hotel the free cocktail was an added bonus.All in all very good value for money in the middle of the shopping area of Seminyak. The 24 hr checkin/out is a good idea as late arrivals still get their full stay. New hotel! The 24 hour check in/out policy very convenient. The free in room breakfast service is very good & convenient. The rooftop pool is very nice. Rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and very helpful (special thanks to Gindo for all advices for the rest of our trip in Bali). For example if you checked in at 7pm you can also checked out at the same time. Room is very spacious and right at heart of seminyak. All the good casual restaurants are wlaking distance and only a few minutes away from Petitenget. The 24 hour check out policy is excellent and very convenient. The breakfast is very good. I had a lovely suite on the 5th Floor ocean facing and would request the same room again. The roof top pool with Bar was great and the views of sunset and over Seminyak to Kuta were brilliant. Checkout time matches your checkout time which was fantastic, i.e. check in at 8pm your checkout time next day is 8pm. When we checked in, we were asked which scent we wanted for our toiletries, which I thought was a nice and unique touch however throughout our stay, we did not get the scent we chose. We did not bother asking as it really did not matter but it would have been really nice for them to follow through on the unique offer. View from our room onto piles of wood and general bits of rubbish let down an otherwise excellent stay. Breakfast juices could be improved. Breakfast was so plain. Some of the fruit at breakfast wasnt very fresh. Sometimes a bit windy at the rooftop pool. Rooftop pool had not enough towels and deck chairs for the amount of people using it at times. There aren't enough pool lounges. The service for drinks was very slow. The pool side menu was average. Communication was difficult as the staff spoke very little English.... but I speak worse Balinese. Perhaps a translation card would be of help. The Breakfast could have a little bit more excitement and the coffee..... well lets just say get a barrista as this is common now in hotels of this standard. The staffs were a bit confused, the concierge didnt request to take our luggage. My room was on level 2, the view is blocked by next door building that has window too which made us uncomfortoble to open the curtain. We had an incredible bad smell coming from the bathroom and the ventilator!. Nothing. Being so close to eat street means plenty of time at the gym post holiday. Lol. - This is not a cheap hotel. But anyway, I believe the price is aligned with the quality. Nothing. No day spa/ massage facility Breakfast a bit monotonous No where to sit on room balcony Very small room balconies. Sometimes a/c not working tv not working 100%. Noise from the pub. Aircon bit loud. strange and disturbing smell of the room. A sheet was dirty. Bathroom concept (bathroom not separated from the bedroom) is well designed but does not allow for privacy. Mosquitos in the lobby. all staff spoke very little English...the service at the roof bar was terrible...and it was very difficult to ask questions about what I needed due to the language barrier.
