Well, it's everything... It brings back our smile since our arrival at this hotel. Initially, we're quite tired queuing for taxi and our luggage at the airport (2 hours). But as soon as we arrive at the hotel, we immediately find some peace in this hotel. It's quite unexpected since Jalan Laksmana outside this hotel is a very crowded and busy road (full of spa, high end boutique, and restaurant). Our room was immediately upgraded from superior to deluxe when the hotel staff found there's a prob.
all reviews » Everyday we were surprised with our towels organized in the shape of an animal! One day a frog, the other day a turtle, a mouse, a fish... With a handwritten note by the housekeeping staff. For someone traveling with a child these type of details are important. The hotel provides a very personalized approach to their guests and does make an effort to respond to your needs as soon as you present them. The breakfast has a very balanced mixture of western and Asian dishes. We have stayed at a lot . The staff was extremely friendly, especially Lina from front desk. She helped us to book a driver & arrange the itinerary with Robby, who is just as excellent & fluent in English. The location is ideal. Tucked in a little street off Jalan Laksmana, quiet, yet convenient once on the main street. Rooms are a little expensive but it's definitely worth booking the deluxe pool terrace. Ultimo is across the street, Teatro further down & Warisan & La Lucciola are just USD2 by cab. We'l. I took my 81 year old mother and 84 year old father, their first ever trip to Bali. I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. Mum and dad had a ground floor room, we were a short distance from the pool and there was buggy/golf cart available to take them up and down to the street. The buffet breakfast was amazing, nothing you could want for, every choice available. I will certainly stay there again on my next visit. Mum and dad loved it too and . Great hotel in the centre of Seminyak. Roooms are modern and very comfortable. Service is absolutely SUPERB!!!! Staff is extremely friendly and frankly as frequent leisure and business traveller, I stay often in top class hotels but never have come across a staff so nice and helpful as here. I have stayed at The Amadea before and loved the hotel. Staff are excellent and always happy to help. Rooms are large and clean, no problems with mosquitos. Pool is nice and cool and offering plenty of shade for those that don't want to sit in the sun. The restaurant out front has great food and the service outstanding. Location, well you ask for anything better, right in the middle of eat street, great shopping, cafes and bars. Definitely will go back again. This are the value for the Amadea bco's the services are more than 5***** hotels and resort. Among us have stay others hotels & resorts around the world, yet we dont receive this kind of treatment and make us feel like at home... No street noise as the facility is down a long drive, but there is always the option of getting a ride in the golf buggy if the walk gets too much. the wifi was the most stable and reliable we experienced while in Bali.the pool right outside our room was a bonus and the staff pleasant, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. We were very satisfied with this hotel! Our room was big and nice, everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. Very nice pools. The breakfast was good with good selection of hot and cold food, fresh salad and fruit. All in all, - this hotel is a very good choice! The price was reasonable . The staff are incredible. So happy, friendly and willing to help. They even remembered and used our first names each time we saw them. For the price this is excellent value. The location is tucked behind Oberoi St so very close to shopping and lots of places to eat. The beach is only a short distance walk away. We stayed only for two nights and were upgraded to a deluxe room right at the pool for free. Room was clean and spacious with LED TV and free Wi-Fi. We received a free 15 minutes massage which was nice. Great pool area. There are many great restaurants and shops near by. The staff was superb, they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Attention to detail. The rooms are clean and new, breakfast is good, the location is great right in the heart of Seminyak, lots of restaurants and shops, the beach some 15 minutes walk. They organised the most beautiful Birthday surprise for me and the young lady in Reception was amazing the way she " set " me up .The day spa was out of this world ! Spa could have been cheaper but that's just compared to the street massage prices etc. The air conditioning was not very efficient and it took a long time to cool the room. Bedsheets and bed coverings were clean but perhaps a little worn out and could stand to be replaced. Hotel needs to improve its credcard machine sistem. I spent I long time at check-in because the machine refused all my cards and there was nothing wrong with them. The hotel is not very big, It's basically a set of individual villas an some hotel rooms on just two floors (ground and first) So if get bored of the swimming pool, you need to leave the premise as there is not much to do. However majority of the hotels, a part from a few like W and the Oberoj, are quite small On top of it, it's about 10-15 mins walk from the seaside, which is OK. Low water pressure in the showers. Busy traffic at the front, sections of pavement being replaced, walking on the main street is an obstacle course. The back lanes are quieter but look out for scooters. Nothing. All was great. I had arranged for late check out (as per their informed procedure can only be done a day before. I did and gotten their agreement). On the checked out day, someone from hotel called at 1120hrs and wanted us to leave saying that there would be customer using the room. Shock as we had already made taxi arrangement to leave later. No choice we only could pack and checked out, spoiling part of our plan. Breakfast spread are almost the same daily and very limited items. Restaurant a bit too westernised. Pool closed at 8- it would be nice to have it open a bit later. Rooms could use a bit more drinking water as we kept having to ask for more. The room service at 9.30 am. Bali it´s a city where everybody is on holidays and sleeping late. Give it more time... Swimming pools are too narrow !. Nothing. Seminyak itself is very poor was a bit of a culture shock at first . There was nothing not to like. We had to go to the hospital due to food poisoning on our last night and the staff was at first a bit confused, without knowing where to send us. I guess they could improve their reaction to stressful situations. Nothing. It is value for money!. Took too long to check in and it was very hot and we weren't offered a cold drink or wet towel. Reception is all opened not air conditioned. Location of restaurant for breakfast. Quite a hike from the main hotel. Breakfast was pretty average though staff made up for it. Toilet had (1) a drainage problem and the air-vent was noisy but it was a good feature to have for circulation.
