Very nice hotel. Near main street, but far enough to be very quiet. We had villa with 2 rooms (double bed) and private pool. it was so nice to get up early and swim in this pool. Main pool is much bigger and there were not so much people, so it wasn't a problem to spend some time there. The bathroom is unique - part of it is not covered by the roof :) Staff is very friendly and helpful. The standard price is quite high, but when be booked it via letsbookhotel.com it was some kind of promo, so .
all reviews » I really like to stayed at Pondok Sara Villa, Actually i would arranged for villa with garden view , but surprisingly the hotel staff was upgrade my reservation villa with private pool villa , for free...!! The location is very strategic, near with the beach and many more place to visit. The staff id very helpful, and the place is very quiet. I like the breakfast anyway. They convey directly to the villa, it is very personal,...If I visit bali , i would stay in this hotel for sure , and I will . Me and My housband really enjoy our 6 nigth stay en Pondok Sara Villa , it's very central in seminyak near the beach and near the street where are all the comerce but very quallet and calm the big bed it's delisious, the bathtub it's un expirience that you hace to trait! All the staff are so friendly and give us a very good service. I will recomend these pondok Saravilla to My friends. The villa was tastefully modern with Balinese infusions - bathroom / shower was unique The private plunge pool was fantastic Quite, secluded location near bustling Legian / Seminyak Value for $$$. There were lot of mosquitos in our villa. The worst part was the drainage in our shower/ open area bathtub clogged. It tooks several hours for the water to flushed. We were sure . location. Pool. breakfast option is quite short, so you can be bored after couple of days. also owners should consider to install fan in the kitchen/living room. in hot days it would be very nice to have it. Nothing else ....this was a great place to stayed at Bali. -private pool was not as clean as it could have been, sandy on floor -no aircon in lounge area meant we could only hang out comfortably in the bedroom. The breakfast was not good. Not much choice. But there is a kitchen so you can cook what. You want. The pool needed algae removal from the floor of the pool. It was hard for me to find halal food, only consolation was the ONE warung that sold halal indonesian food. Otherwise, the food choices along the beach is good for non-halal food seekers. The enterence lounge should fixed with ceiling fan to cooling down the warm atmosphere. Limited utensils in kitchen - eg. no toaster. Breakfast menu offered coffee but none was brought to our villa - we were expected to make our own with the instant sachets available in the room. Some form of mosquito-zapper would have been good. hmm, nothing to say :-). The breakfast has few options. Not like the tv out of the bedroom. pool needed cleaning bathroom needed a real clean. Needs better maintenance. A 2room villa was booked 3months ago. ONLY when we arrived, were we told that there were no 2room villa available as the resort had to serve their long term guests, first. We were given 2 units of 1room villa beside each other which were ok but I feel we should have been informed. Living area outside Breakfast 2 room villa wasn't available so we were put in 2 one bedroom villas on arrival with a connecting door. There was mud on the floor in between the connecting door. Unlit small road on the walk down from the main road. Lots of mosquito. None. How they served breakfast, was reasonable, don't expect too much. We also found out that our roomkey fit to other rooms as well - was not very good to know. And you couldn't look the door to your bedroom. Poor breakfast selection, no cable TV or Airline Schedule on TV Wifi kept dropping out and staff just seem to walk in as soon as they ring the bell without waiting to be asked in causing loss of privacy issues. Not many restaurants or bars in the immediate area. Choice of breakfast limited and poor food quality. Had ongoing problem with . Air conditioning not effective. Breakfast poor. The poor maintenance. This is the first time we were misguided by the photos & the beautiful wording of the villa's facilities. the layout of the villa where the bedroom is closed off with no television but a living area without ac and mosquitos, the open air bathroom where everyone can hear you take care of business--very weird. Problems with water on villa.
