A gem of a small hotel, ideal for couples. We stayed in Lavender, one of the one bedroom pool villas. Huge living room, bedroom and indoor bathroom (some are outdoor), cooling stone floors and nice Balinese carved wood and artifacts (both in the room and around the hotel). A secluded terrace with plunge pool that was cold but nicely refreshing. The grounds are small but well laid out. The main pool is also pleasant. There are only a few rooms and it always seems uncrowded, even when full. Staff.
all reviews » We only stayed one night because we arrived in Bali late and Seminyak was closer to the airport than our expensive hotel in Ubud. Blue Karma was just lovely. Our villa (I think we were upgraded) was just gorgeous-- modern, clean, large, with a private pool. The grounds are beautiful as well. The staff were kind, friendly and efficient. We took a walk to the closest beach at Seminyak and were not impressed--tacky shops along the way. Admittedly, we didn't spend enough time there to gain an accur. Tha villa was absolutely beautiful- well thought out space wiase with amazing art work. The rooms were very cloean and evry nice.The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and very useful with directions and ideas. The pool was amazing- both the small private pool in the vilal aand the large shared pool- beautiful and lovely to come home to. The location was excellent- nice and close to everything but quiet and away from the busy-ness. The decor and design first attracted us. The staff were all very attentive and full of warmth. We felt very at home at this resort. Very clean with very few mosquitoes. We checked out on the 4th day and went to Kuta then we started to miss Blue Karma, so we return for our final stay before we depart for home. We would definitely return in future and recommend this resort to our friends without hesitation. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Anything you wanted they were happy to oblige. Mang Sri was lovely and made our breakfasts a treat. The main pool was also amazing especially when it was raining. The location was also great not too far from the beach, the restaurants of seminyak or even kuta. Blue Karma is fantastic. The villas are stylish, comfortable, quiet and private. The outdoor bathrooms are a novelty too. The staff were absolutely fabulous, very welcoming and helpful but also discreet. Breakfasts were delicious. Couldn't fault this place for a relaxing holiday. Staff were great we asked for a few special things and it was no hassle for the staff to accomadate. They picked up your name and welcomed you each time you returned with a great smile . Location was also very convenient to the main street but quiet. The staff, the actual Hotel settings, the food and rooms, are all beautiful. I don't think i could put anything here as we enjoyed the stay and if we are looking for that kind of villa we will most certainley return. Nothing really. We left your premises and moved elsewhere, because of the constant Crowing of Roosters right under our windows day & night!!!. The continual barking of all the dogs, day & night!!! The constant motorbike noise in the back alley, day and night!! It is such a shame...a beautiful Hotel, but yet such a noisy setting!!!. Taxi drivers dont know it so take address out with you. we were supposed to have three rooms, one per person, and they only read the booking as one room so we had to share for the first night. not very good for three elderly ladies! They made up for the mistake by not charging for the night and giving us each a free massage. Restaurant menu could have been more extensive. No fault of the hotel, roosters close by crowing early morning. Not impressed with basic bathroom faclities. Was a bit noisy from outside road but we got used to that, no problem. The curtains at the entrance !!Felt like i was going into an opium den !!. Liked everything, no negatives at all. Nothing!. The breakfast only have few choise... Noisy noisy room with thatched roof - poor sleep quality expensive villas may be quieter choice, never any privacy around pool area very busy hub and saw rat here too, room very dark, pick up from airport never arrived which was dissapointing too and no apology.
