The facilities and apartments are great for a family holiday. The two pools are located on the sides of one of the buildings and there is always one that provides shade (or sun!). The playground and kids club provided great variety of activities. It is easy to reach the big supermarket and shops by foot, about a 5-10 min walk, once you find the right path at the back enterance. The apartments are big and spacious. Nice buffet breakfast. The gym is small and could do with an uppgrade, but it is .

However, once inside no noise from road and venture out the back gate on tiny road for few minutes walk into central Sanur and the beach, excellent! Fantastic 'DIY' bbq where all we had to do was cook and eat, the staff provided all food and cleaned up after!. Sanur Plaza Suites was a lovely hotel to stay at. The apartments were huge, at a great price. Staff were always friendly and happy. Amenities were clean and the kids room was great. Even though we had young teenagers, they loved the slide and the kids area. It was truly a delightful place to stay. The waterslide in the kids area was amazing and our 4 year old loved it, and liked that there was a lifeguard on duty the whole time the pool was open. The suite was very spacious and well equipped. We would stop here again on our next trip to Bali. Loved the facilities and family friendly atmosphere. We also enjoyed the spaciousness of the apartment. We found all the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Overall we had a wonderful two weeks at Paradise Plaza Suites. Large apartments. Comfortable beds. Very quiet in the rooms even though located on a main road. Great pools. Great buffet breakfast. Free shuttle bus to beach and shops a nice bonus. Good value for money. I booked this hotel as we had a one night stop on our way to Lombok. Had young and older kids. We all loved it! It was so friendly, great value and we wished we had longer. Would definitely go back. Loved the daily breakfast, the 3 bedroom suite, the pool with the basketball rings, volleyball net and the water slide! The staff were all really friendly and nice!. Having a 20 ltr water supply was a brilliant idea. The child minding services were excellent and the kids club kept the kids happy. All staff were great. We even took her on the big slide (sitting on our laps) a few times which she loved. The resort is VERY FAMILY focused, with its restaurant menus, layout and pools. We had late check out on our last day which is at 6pm however because of our young 18 month old daughter, they let us stay until 8:30pm at no extra charge so that she could get a few hours sleep before we left for the airport - very appreciated!!. Manager on duty was able to quickly move us from the first room to a slightly better room (one of the bedrooms was extremely musty and damp and the hot water service didn't last long enough for 4 people to shower). the breakfast has many choice. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is really kind and smiling. Great facilities for chidlren ( water slide, games room) Spacious appartment rooms. Lovely breakfast. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach so the location felt a bit off sometimes. There are few other dining options nearby. The playground had lots of big red ants and after getting bitten, we did feel comfortable letting our toddler play here. The back gate closes too early for residents to leave for dinner at an appropriate time. It would be great to be able to leave and return through the gate during the evening. Decor a little tired. Check-in was very slow as only one person available for 3 groups. The construction going on. We werent told about this when booking. When trying to have a nap in the day was a bit noisy. Pillows were to big, air conditioners noisy and need more storage in 2nd and 3rd rooms. Also a bench for unpacking/packing suitcases. Insufficient lighting to read by at night. It was located away from the beach and other hotels. A bit of a pain if you just want to go for a walk down the street. It has a back gate but that closes at 5.30. the restaurant was getting refurbished so breakfast was served outside in the hot sun which was abit uncomfortable but we look forward to seeing the new restaurant next trip. Not so much didn't like but the hotel restuarants dinner menu could be better. Restaurant service really slow. We found the spa under renovation also if the website was showing it was working. The hotel uses to block a certain amount of money from the credit card as a garantee for your staying.Nobody informed us about this procedure. During the ck-out there was a problem a they couldn't release the blocked,so we paid our bill and they faxed the bank to release the money. Everythink was resolved the next day. The rooms were a little outdated. Bathrooms could do with an upgrade. No dining facilities in this hotel but the other one down the road is fantastic. Would prefer to stay at the other hotel under this ownership next time. restuarant - pushy service and bees!. Not enough sun beds in beach area. Not being informed that they were going to charge a security bond to my credit card. food and drinks very expensive. The resort was celebrating its 17th birthday. I don't think they've spent much on upkeep in that time so parts of it are a little tired. The rooms are rather tired looking particularly the bathrooms, this as the case for both rooms we stayed in. Restaurant is slow on egg station at breakfast Nd when we ordered room service and asked for 3 servings of boiled rice we received French fries despite confirming it repeatedly with the staff who took the order. not quiet at all. You have to pay for the hot chocolate for the children. The taxi fro; the hotel are really expensif and they don,t hesitate to phone you in the room at 8AM to propose some visit... Not enough poolside lounges, so not comfortable to be around the pool. Back gate closed too early and therefore difficult to get to shops. On two occassions no pool towels,and no offer of an alternative, so we couldnt swim!. The traditional music played at breakfast from 8-9.30am every single day was irritating. Both while eating and while in my room as we were directly over the restaurant. Hotel was old and some bathroom features were dodgy. Distance from beach and other places of interest. You could not walk and had to get a car / taxi everywhere. I dislike the pool assistance at the kiddies slide, they don't pay attention to safety of the young children who might need help. They chatted the whole time.
