We absolutely loved PTD. The hotel was more like a spa resort with a kind of fairytale/cottage village kinda look. It has a tranquility vibe all over it. Our stay at PTD was fantastic. We stayed for 5 days and it was lovely. The staff is friendly and the room is very clean. We are not a demanding couple but we're used to a certain kind of comfort and PTD delivered! We came and enjoyed ourselves very much. And the most important part; we found a lot of peace and quiet there. The beach and centr.
all reviews » The 'hotel' is actually a collection of beautiful little wooden cottages set in a garden of tranquility and gorgeous flowers. The hot yoga studio and spa draw non residents as well as guests and both contribute to the overall sense of peace and indulgence. The staff could not be more helpful or charming and their standard of service was excellent. I was given complimentary yoga sessions and a massage - thankyou, I loved both! I met my daughter who was travelling in Bali and she came and joined . The attention to detail struck me the most... Everywhere you look in the garden you will discover something new - a small angel hanging in a tree in front of our cottage - fresh flower petals on the tables in the reception cottage - everyday! The cottages are comfotable with an indoor as well as an outdoor shower. We loved the privacy of an individual cottage. Entering the hotel area is like entering an oasis of tranquality following the hustle and bustle of the main road - which you do not h. a truly lovely place, it feels like a different place and time. very friendly staff, beautifull garden and really a place to recover, have romantic days & nights ;-) i had an ear infection when i arrived, the Manager gave me his Driver and took me to the pharmacy, later even to the local doctor and international clinic. as female single traveller i felt they always had an eye on me. breakfast is really enough and offers a wide choice of different things. only pity: breakfast only until 10a. We loved thgis hotel for its beautiful envrinoment. The cottages were so romantic, with nice terasses, the garden was amazing. The staff was very helpful and nice. The hotel is next to the main road, however you do not hear anything. The place is really calm. Also you go to the beach by back entry, so you do not know about the main road at all. Walk to the beach takes about 15 minutes and you go through nice streets with many shops, cafés, restaurants. The beach is also very nice with a few peo. Fantastic staff , lovely surroundings .I took my wife as a surprise and the fact that you stay in beautiful cottages that were once someones home .Great bed and huge bath . Lovely pool area and chilled out spaces .Very peaceful and spiritual if you like that type of thing .We loved it. Close to main road but no noise , great location although , at first a bit unerving walking down the side streests to get to the main area and beach.Having said that would definately come again ,with friends . . Liked it all. The reconstructed authentic Bali houses with large bathroom are quaint. My wife loved the Massage and Spa and found the cost very reasonable for inhouse guests. A great place to relax and the French owner with Balinese wife are lovely people. There is a shuttle service dropoff to the Sanur shopping and beach, which they should mention on their website. Walking to the beach is no more than 10 minutes anyway. We enjoyed our 4 days very much. i have been to bali since 1980.stayed everywhere,, puri tempo doeloe.gave me beautiful gardens,friendly staffs,good service,and away from noises and cluttered concrete buildings,everything is made of wood and beautifully placed.It brought me back to the old times,it was tranquil,peaceful and awesomely comfortable. It was a perfect stay in the beautiful pool villa. A short stroll to the main street along some back lanes which is a nice glimpse of local Sanur life and architecture. Very friendly and professional staff. Nice hotel, with a beautiful garden, and pool just fine. There where clean everywhere and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Sanur is a town with a lot of shopping and dining options. The atmosphere is really nice, nice bungalows in a unique style. Although it is close to the busy road, you don't experience any inconvenience from that. Lovely hotel, beautiful cottages, nice pool and spa, friendly staff. Staff and relaxation. Decoration is good. Good breakfast. we only had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting the owner once!!!. The pool 'tastes'kinda sour but no biggy..xD. The hotel is located between a main bypass and some small partially lit back streets and although you can't hear any noise from the bypass it doesn't look encouraging as you approach it - but persist. The walk back in the evening after eating in the restaurants behind the hotel was a little dark and although I was ok with this it may make other single women feel uncomfortable. The breakfast was included in the rate and although good we found the choice limited to eggs or nasi. i really loved everything about puri tempo doeloe, just one Information on letsbookhotel.com is wrong - the bikes are not for free but you can rent them for 30.000r per day. i took the bike twice only in the evening and so they charged only 1 day. That we had to go away :). Only downside was poor WIFI connectivity when in your room .But thats all. Not very impressed with pedicure at the hotel spa. The beach in sanur was not the best beach on Bali. It was a very good location for us and we don't mind walking a bit, but if you want to be near the beach, this might not be the perfect location for you. First time there, we were told that breakfast was not included (although it was), but the breakfast we had was lovely. Second time there, breakfast was included - but the free breakfast is not as nice as the other options on the menu (juice is not fresh etc). the lokation is a bit far from everything. Maybe breakfast could have been more varied but still good. Being on the bypass road. Dinner's menu is too occidental. Location and wifi is not that good. the arrogant owner..when i asked for paracetamol for my wife at reception was handed 1x tablet by owner and told" you know these only cost 2000 rupiah in town...
