The management and staff were extremely lovely and helpful. We booked a double bedroom first and when we got there there a was problem with toilet and we were upgraded to a family room. Air-condition was broken in the family room and it was fixed in a minutes. The room was very clean. They have 3 small pools which is good enough to relax and cool down. The hotel is just 1-minute walking from shops, restaurants and caffes. The beach is at the front of the hotel where you can hire a boat for 10-2.
all reviews » We feel regret to not stay here more than this (just only 1 night). We arrived here at 7.30 pm (after shopping), then raining in the morning. If I knew that, this would be a good one. I will stay here all three nights (I mean after trip for all day, then running to the beach, how excellent!!) By the way,master room that closed to open bathroom so don't forget to closed to door, because of the open bathroom(shower) will bring a lot of mosquito while you were sleeping. reasonable accommodation for a family with 2 young children at a reasonable price(plenty of space inside and outdoor seating for each room) The view during breakfast,(breakfast was simple, sustaining and yummy but not the vast buffet that some offer) delicious complimentary coffees all day in the beach side restaurant. On the beach but walk to Hardys shops, beach and main street restaurants. You get all you need and what you pay for. Family friendly. actually I picked this hotel just because it's only for my transit to Lembongan Island, but surprisingly..this hotel is great! the staff is nice..they're helpful and also..It's because there's a construction beside their hotel..their upgrade our room, to be far from the noise.. they really concern about our vacation to be really peaceful!! :). i loved the hotels cultural design. the bungalos are great. it is central to the sanua shopping and after hours entertainment. i thought the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpfull. the massage spa is great and the girls do a great job. the breakfast were fantastic it was an excellent overall holiday. The hotel was traditional, that was appealing to us considering there were so many Westernised buildings being built around it. The rooms were clean and lovely. The staff were friendly. If you are looking for typical rustic Bali laid back accommodation and service this is ideal. Rooms are adequate, good size, comfortable and clean with plenty of open space. Hardy's grocery store was a short stroll away which was handy. The hotel was right on the beach. The kids pool was right at our door. Perfect for our young family. I liked the roomy rooms and amazing bathroom that allowed us to have some privacy as we travelled with three 14 year olds. Excellent for cleanliness as the towels beds pillows and blankets were all washed daily. I stayed in one of the older thatched cottages which I would recommend for a taste of old Bali. Breakfast in the beach-side restaurant is relaxing with good coffee, but bring your sunglasses. A number of pools. Good small grond level hotel with separate bungalows off a winding path and pretty gardens. No fuss. Kids enjoyed hanging out with the other kids in the pool. The sambal oelek is delicious. Breakfast just so-so..but it's not a big deal since their staff is superb!! :). i could not fault this hotel for anything. The pools were old which some may not like but it did add to its traditional appeal. limited menu selection in restaurant. It's Bali - you can never expect perfection in any 'star' hotel here, I just wish the plumbing worked better. Shower pressure. Old TV (but you never get time to watch it anyway). The pool wasn't very clean. All our bathers turned a lovely shade of green from it. This didn't make our stay any less enjoyable though. The three pools were not 100% and the hotel is ageing. The locaton is at one end of the main strip and a bit of a walk to the various restaurants, bars and shops, but this, maybe, is also a benefit for it is quieter. Big hotel being built next door, but no fault of Peneeda View. The pools were a little bit worn out. A little tired but okay for the price. :). We originally booked the traditional accommodation, which is very cheap. We decided to upgrade because the rooms were smaller and quite dark. The shallow lagoon is not for swimmers even less for divers!. mosquitoes. Nothing. The breakfast is the same every day and the choice is poor. Major construction adjacent to this hotel from 8 am-10pm where there is a new hotel being built. There are no beach loungers at this hotel. The sun umbrella's and pool tiles could do with a freshening or maybe a splash of colour. The solar hot water system wasn't always successful. The mosquitoes, bring repelllent :). All good. We couldn't stay longer this trip!. Should have more choices on the menu of breakfast. all good except the constant building noise from next door from 8am till 10pm most nights.. My room was a long way from the beach. Loved everything, only comment the 2 bedroom would have been better if separate lounge in middle of two rooms. next door construction site working to late at night. Amenties,, no free wi fi in the room and no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, even though our room was close to where you could go to make them, there were no clean cups, when notifiying reception they told us we would have to come to the front if we wanted coffee. the swimming pools are a little bit small.
