Two nights for less than 200 dollars in a 4 stars hotel is just great. Staff were always smiling and helpful. View of my standard room was amazing. Great room and bathroom ("walk-in shower" really appreciated). Good location and good accessibility to shops and food outlets. Great Hotel In a Nice area , they upgraded us to the royal suite free of charge wow it was fantastic and huge , nice breakfast.

Location. location. Lots of different restaurants. staff were friendly. swimming pool. Love the pool. Nothing. You only have access to the floor your staying in and to the 8th floor. My friend was on a different floor than mine and I could not get up to his room. Bathrooms need to be taken care of more. Insistence on playing hackneyed pop music continuously in the dining room (would you believe "The Best Of Celine Dion" played ad nauseum). What's wrong with (a) no music or (b) quiet instrumentation music? They also pre-cook the omelettes and leave them in a pile to get cold and rubbery. Ridiculous 16 digit WiFi Log-in that is impossible to remember and which only lasts 1 day. This is not "security"; it is total inconvenience. Internet very slow. None. facility has obvious sign of lacking maintainance. some facility is shut down. but still. it is worth the value. The breakfast offerings are OK but nothing special Their insistence on playing old pop vocals (a la Celine Dion) or irritating instrumentals (a l Kenny Gee) ad nauseum. overall the services is good but a suggestion for receptionist to be more friendly becoz when we check in no greeting at all n no smile. The traffic in Jakarta is the worst I have ever seen. It took me 3 hrs to get to and from the airport. I had to travel to Bekasi everyday for work and that took between one and two hours. Ridiculous IT policy requiring 16 digit log-in code that changed every 24 hrs. Neither me or my colleague were able to obtain an internet connection from our rooms on our last day there - and we are in the IT business! Garish lounge on 33 floor - bad taste and no service Slow food replenishment at the height of breakfast service - no one appeared to be in charge to ensure service plates were refilled - e.g. on 2 occasions I had to ask for more bread to be supplied. room looks very standard and a bit out of date, no speciality. Some services were restricted because of Ramadan, but this was only to be expected. Staff with limited English skills Cleaning in suite. Verry expensive to use the business centre to online check in!. The internet connection was like on demand as it expires after 24 hrs or download limit !! and then we need to call reception to get new password. Traffic jams everywhere !. The gym has limited though ok facilities - they do not have good iron, old and outdated and couldn't get the crease off my clothes - they did not provide face flannel - their food is a little over priced. only one set of facilities and one pair of slippers, though there were two of us, no dressing-gowns, not very good service at breakfast. I ask for elect adaptor I never got it the chairs in the lobby not enough to set quality of breakfast very poor. As to the food, it was ok regarding the taste, a lot of choice, yet I had a mild stomach upset a couple of times after the breakfast. I hope the cleanliness and the quality of hygiene can be improved. I may have been overcharged for the room as I booked on www.letsbookhotel.com, I need to check this. Jakarta traffic. Some things felt dark and old. Not goof spot traffic wise. Prefer to see a more proactive staff who are informative. Restaurant food could be improved. The bed is too hard, not comfort and there is a project beside the hotel. Noise sometimes and dusty. Heavy traffic in Jakarta. The carpet inside the room. Steam n sauna n swimming pool very dirty Looks like they didnt clean at all Im not complaining , I just want them improve These areas . smell in room is not fresh. All that is 5 star about the Manhattan Hotel is the loacation. The mattress was extremely poor quality. No bedside lamp. The linen was poor quality. Water in bathroom barely lukewarm. Shower curtain long overdue for replacement. hotel is dreary. 1.access from parking area to lobby 2. room toilet is poor design and material. Room service staff was rude. Rooms are not as they look on the pictures, they are so dirty.
