Hotel is really a diamond in Jakarta's dirt. Very stylish, cosy with excellent food and very friendly stuff. Everything in the hotel is new, beds are very comfortable - I slept at a baby. Even shower gel and shampoo are special in this hotel! Loved healthy fruit cocktails and lounge area at the top of the hotel. First time I enjoyed staying the city hotel that much. Just sat there and read a book about Indonesian art. Highly recommend to everyone!.
all reviews » The hotel was well designed. Rooms are nicely done and exude warmth. Small functional details are much appreciated (eg. multi adapter socket, ipod dock, quality toiletries), space is tight but perfect for solo traveler. Breakfast was good, staff was attentive and polite. Good cable TV options. WIFI worked superbly when I was there. I would stay there again. The hotel design & decor is fabulous. Loved the intimate lounge areas downstairs with all the great books & magazines. Felt like you were in your own home. Restaurant was great. My pillow was devine. Nice and central to everything. Enjoyed our stay immensely and would thoroughly recommend. Thankyou. An oasis of design and order in a city that is absolutely chaotic. Not everybody understand English in the hotel, but this is common for Jakarta. You can leave a small light on for sleeping, either all dark, or rather bright. Just thought the toilet/shower area was a little cramped. Wish the cafe on the roof had been open. Must be a very nice view from the 10th floor. Not anything to do with the hotel but Jakarta traffic makes sightseeing very difficult!. My only unhappiness lies with the clear glass concept of the en suite bathroom. Wished that they would just use full height printed/fritted glass instead. The Petita rooms were a bit too small. Walls are thin, can easily hear neighbours talking. No room service (although the restaurant is 24hrs) No swimming pool. Cannot literally respond to your request while the breakfast room is full of guests.... The bathroom. We stayed in a deluxe double room, and the bathroom was simply a glass enclosure within the same space. No walls, no separation. Right there, next to the bed. This was a little awkward and uncomfortable. In addition, although we didn't mind the compact room size, a little bit more natural light would have livened up the room. If the curtains were drawn I would never be able to tell if it were 12 at noon or 12 midnight. very poor breakfast. location isn't close to downtown, but take a bluebird for e few$ and you're ok. Room is too small.. Some of the rooms have a bad smell. Bathrooms too open. Uncomfortable if staying with friend. Take care if you are somking they will not allow you to smoke at your room even you choos smoking room and try to make you to smoke only at poor place Very small rooms Poor breakfast.
