Gili Trawangan Beach is a 5-minute bike ride from the property. Set within landscaped gardens, each villa is built with different lay out and designs. All of the air-conditioned villas have a seating area, a flat-screen TV, and a DVD player. The private bathrooms are either indoor or open-air. Some villas include a kitchen and living/dining room. Kelapa Villas is a 15-minute bicycle ride from the lively centre of Gili Trawangan. It is 2 hours from Lombok Airport via land and sea transfers. Transfers from Lombok and Bali can be arranged. Guests enjoy free access to The Trawangan Club, which has a tennis court and an air-conditioned gym. Staff can arrange in-villa massages and laundry services. The Kelapa Villa’s are located in the middle of the island, ideally situated to visit both the northern and southern beach. We were welcomed by Rene, the manager of the complex, who accompanied us to the villa and explained everything. Our 3 bedroom villa has –indeed- 3 bedrooms with conditioning and open living room and kitchen. The pool is centrally located between the living room and two bedrooms. all reviews » We had an absolute amazing honeymoon there and would highly recommend this beautiful villas to other travelers. The stuff was super friendly, the villas are big and comfy and the breakfast service is just an additional plus. Make sure you cycle 3 minutes down the road and watch the sunset on "sunset beach", one of the highlights of our stay. From the moment of arrival till departure, everything was perfect. We got an upgrade to a bigger villa for our honeymoon, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Gili Trawangan beach can be very crowded and noisy, so the quiet comfort of our villa was definitely a plus. The management & staff were super friendly & helpful. The location was fantastic, only a short bike ride to everything & it was very, very quiet. The Villa was spacious & the pool a decent size. Room service was delicious, quick & inexpensive. Location is great-a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the central area. Good fun heading out on the bikes in the evening for sun downers on the west side of the island and then dinner. Good loungers. There are free bikes with the villa but they very old and most are too small for Europeans. There's no real bar there, you can have a beer in the garden, which the lovely stuff will bring you immediately, but no real bar to hang out, which we didn't care about at all. Make sure you get some lights for your bikes if you cycle back to the villa in the evening, as the roads are a bit bumpy. More greenery would be welcome along the fence, but minor point!. Fairly bumping path to ride home - not at all the responsibilty of the resort- but remember to take (or hire) a torch/light for the trips back in the evening. Nothing. It wasn't on the beach nor do they have beach access so you must use another hotel/restaurant by buying drinks. The location. Is in the middle of the island, you have to ride a bike to the beach or -in the dark- to the restaurants area if you want to have diner out of the villa. The wifi connection. Wifi is not accesible from the villa. Would have been nice if there was a cocktail menu or a wider selection of wine. Quality of breakfast. Privacy (bungalow close each other), so can become noisy if neigbour with kids.... Breakfast chef needs to step up his game in making eggs. Long way to the beach and restaurants. You have to go by bike. Old and very uncomfortable bikes provided - no brakes no baskets. Breakfast cold when delivered - and no forks in the kitchen. Sofa cover torn and tatty looking. One fan not working properly. Aircon in one bedroom had to be fixed on arrival. So very expensive but not a luxury property.
