All the staff without exception were extrimely attentive and polite. All questions were answered and all requests met. Despite not so oppulent external appearance, the entire hotel's interior was magical, enstilling harmony and peace. Very comfortable rooms and a good choice of restaurants. Very good valie for money. The charge did not match what I had booked with letsbookhotel.com. Should have been approx 19000 rp for two nights and was charged approx 21000rp. The staff checked and said it was to do with Luxury Tax. My booking did include 18.5% tax. Reply please Not happy !!.
all reviews » Exceptionally helpful and welcoming staff. Very friendly atmosphere all round. Hotel very well situated by foot to Lodi park and Khan market. 15 mins ride to Old Delhi and all historical monuments. Clean and regular housekeeping. Nice pool for relaxing swim. The Claridges enjoys a good central location. The rooms are of a good standard, with excellent wifi. Wifi is charged though. The staff very attentive and offered assistance throughout the stay. This is a good choice for a reasonably priced downtown hotel. Fantastic old world charm of the Hotel, excellent staff, especially housekeeping & coffee shop staff. The location is in a fantastic part of New Delhi, well located. Overall just a great experience. Probably one of the best hotels in Delhi! Excellent location and can't ask for more. Breakfast should be served in a bigger hall or area as it gets too crowded in the peak times as everyone is in a rush and service becomes slow. Choice of food limited!. Expensive. Internet not good quality and also very expensive - it should be free - complimentary. I need tooth paste and brush and razor in room - they used to be available - not there this time. Location is a bit far off. No other restaurants and shopping opportunity for small budgets around. Nothing I can think of. Would be nice to see more Indian wines available. Internet charges. nothing - it was great. Some miscommunication in the reservations department. reservation's service could be improved. Early morning call was 35 minutes late. Breakfast pack organised for 6am was only available at check out at 0630. Price fo room 236 too high! 3000 for airport pickup excessive. Too expensive all the extra services: resturants , telephone . The Rooms di not corrispond at the category .... The doors are derty , the Windows are old and you can hear the external noise.
