  Such an amazing place! Great location - a ten minute 'exciting' walk from the centre! Traffic is a bit of a nightmare but if you can't deal with that don't go to small cities in India! Friendly helpful staff and a rooftop restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Good value for the money.

  I stayed 2 nights 15 th and 16 th dec-2013 at vivanta taj , my stay was wonderful, starting from check in to room service, breakfast and above all , staff were so polite and friendly. I would definitely come again to visit and love to recommend every one and at last I got nice souvenir from hotel while che king out!!! Very personal and considerate. They also prepared a surprise for us since we were on our honeymoon. Very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this hotel.
