Such an amazing place! Great location - a ten minute 'exciting' walk from the centre! Traffic is a bit of a nightmare but if you can't deal with that don't go to small cities in India! Superb views of the city and the fort/palace - amazing. The staff were great. I is a very personal and informal place. Everything I needed they provided. Extremely good value for money (although this was June!).
all reviews » Very pleasant,the Haveli was in a truly amazing 400 year old building hidden in the maze of streets in the old market area of Jodhpur. The room was large, clean and attractively decorated with coffee making facilities, Wi Fi, television and space for table and chairs. Friendly helpful staff and a rooftop restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Good value for the money. pretty awesome hotel that actually very very modern and luxury one then the pictures showing especially the bathroom, perfect combination with modern and history, nice view to the castle on the roof with delicious food, not much rooms but only seven but everyone is good, the boss is cool but nice and friendly, we got a good time there. The haveli is very nice, close to old town center, a bit away from the street which is good as you almost hear no noise from it, rooms are very cosy, clean, bathroom is great, you have a great view of the fort on the rooftop restaurant and the service is friendly. Definitely a good choice. Gorgeous 350 year old mansion owned by the very kind family who runs it. The lady of the house was most helpful and accommodating. We felt welcome, comfortable and truly privileged to be there. Our only regret was we didn't spend enough time in the house. We were made to feel very welcome. Despite arriving quite late food and drink was prepared for us and the roof terrace had great views of the fort. The room was beautiful. The ambience of India,attention to detail and the character of the rooms mke the Juna Mahal a must to stay in when visiting Jodpur. Nice old house, great view. breakfast was the only meal we ate at the hotel and we loved it. the decor of the rooms is lovely. i couldn't stop taking pictures of the house. Make sure you establish the correct rate as the their website differed from the letsbookhotel.com prices. the street outside is noisy but once u get in the lane, everything is quiet and nice suddenly. Except by foot, the only access is by rickshaw, if you're getting to Jodhpur by car (which was the case for us), you will have to take a rickshaw, especially if you have unconvenient luggages (walking would be difficult in those busy tiny streets). The hotel can arrange for you, but we've been charged too much for such a distance, we didn't appreciate that too much, it's a pity. Nothing. Steep stairs. wi-fi was below average in speed and bad in terms of signal in room (you only got it if you sat in certain places =P ). Our breakfast was included but what they offered us was toast and Tea which later we had to argue for a better deal, a "proper breakfast". There is no bell or a phone in the room so it was a little difficult to have room service. We had to walk out and shout out for the staff. Poor breakfast, just plain toast and coffee. Difficult to find. we had booked what their website called a 'suite' but the room they gave us was tiny. it was supposed to have 2 single bed & a fold out sofa. instead it had a double bed. they finally moved us to a slightly bigger room on our second night after we complained.
