During that trip to Iceland we stayed in four different guesthouses in different parts of the country, so I can compare. Home Guesthouse was undoubtedly the best of them! It's located very conveniently near the airport, very close to the famous Blue Lagoon, so can be a good final destination before you leave. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, and everything was arranged to the highest standard and convenience of the guests. We had an early flight and that is why have decided to stay there as it's near the airport. For sure we don't regret as the place is just perfect. Excellent is not even stronge enought to describe the owner, the house and every thing that goes with it. The house has been decorated with really good taste, some thing you usually see only in fashion magazine. The fridge was also full with all you need for a great breakfast. many thanks to the owner for this warm welcome.

Everything. The owner or person who manage this design guesthouse was amazing. She was sweet, she was helpful, she had all the answers we needed, and a great taste for decoration, as the place didn't lack anything. She was all the time willing to help us and give us anything we needed. It was just perfect. Even the kitchen had all the possible details, and all the food you would possibly need. It was a same we couldn't stay longer cause we were coming back home.
We stayed there the last night before leave Iceland. We were the only
customers, so we had the whole house by ourselves. Due to leave 5am the
next morning, land lady leave us plenty food for breakfast. She also
recommended us a nice place for dinner. The house is beautiful,
everything is nice, clean and comfortable. Location only few minutes’
drive to the airport. We saw the northern light even stand at the house
drive way. Will stay there next time.
A lovely guesthouse, very nicely decorated and very clean. The owner greeted us with tea, coffee and homemade cakes which was very welcome after a day exploring in the cold!!
This is a great location if you are arriving or departing from the airport. It's a bit of a walk to the town centre but a quick drive if you have a car.
We stayed 1 night but wished we'd cancelled our average guesthouse in Reykjavik and stayed here for 2 nights.
I can not imagine more for this house experience. It is so amazing! The hosts are so warmhearted and I was shocked by the creativity of the hostess. The house was so beautiful and even economic, you can find everything you want, and everything is convenient. It is also free to taste the delicious food they prepare! If I would go to Iceland again, I would go to this place first!.
The accomodation was amazing, absolutely everything we could ever need, the house is beautiful, very modern, the family that own the house were so lovely, they really went out of there way to make us feel special, really helped us out whilst stuck in a blizzard, will definately be back.
The welcome was superb and we were allowed to picnic on the table and
told to help ourselves to anything we wanted. It's one of the nicest
hotels we have ever stayed in but this is Iceland where everyone is
nice. We will certainly return when in the area.

Everything was great! The location is near the airport, so we stayed only 1 night there before our early flight. It was clean, beautiful, comfortable - we had everything what we needed. A lovely place!.
Great private mansion nearby Keflavik airport. Spacious, clean rooms, nice living room, tasty breakfast and a very friendly landlord. We spent entire evening with her talking about Iceland and Poland.

Beautifully designed house with all the modern amenities. The hostess was extremely nice and friendly. Ideally situated close to the airport. The breakfast was very good with home-made sweets.
Wonderful quiet location close to the airport, modern and spacious house
with huge bathroom (and bathtub), all equipped kitchen with diy
breakfast (perfect if your flight is early), comfy beds.

We expected noise from planes landing and taking off but we didn't hear much. The house is cosy and comfortable and has 2 bathrooms.
We had the largest room in the guesthouse which was spacious and nicely decorated. The breakfast was self service but everything was available, easy if you have to catch an early flight.
Amazing place to stay when you have an early flight to catch or when you arrive in a late flight. Owner is great. The place is super clean and superb decoration.

I am just unsatisfied by myself, and I want to apologize for the host and hostess, because we left the house in a hurry in the morning and we had no time to wash the dishes. Sorry for that, but I can not find any dissatisfaction about that house.

None of the above words describe the hotel. It was near the airport and convenient for it which is why we chose it. Otherwise it is suitable for anyone and we felt very comfortable there.

Bring a map to find the place as it looks like a common house.
The location is close to the airport so there's not much to do if you don't have a car.
The kitchen facilities are limited to the use of the microwave. This is not a big problem but it is useful if you know it in advance.
