The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated and appointed, with a fantastic view over the city. The food in the restaurant was very good. One thing that strongly encouraged my husband and I to stay at the Novotel Citygate Hong Kong was the proximety to the airport and the free shuttle service to and from. Very conveniently located and professionally staffed and run. Good accommodations. Well maintained facility.

Had two meals both were very good. free airport transfer was a nice surprise for me, maybe I did not notice it on LetsBookHotel.com page. the interior and design was superior and check-in very professional...like in 1 minute. Room is very nice and clean. A lot of room for luggage. Comfortable bed and nice view.We arrived at the end of the morning and I did not expect to be able to use our room as early as that! It was a pleasant surprise. The free shuttle to the airport was very useful on that particularly busy day. Proximity to the airport and cable car/shops and very early check in much appreciated after a 14 hour flight from Rome with 2 cranky children.Very conveniently located, rooms have a pleasant and unusual layout, nice FandB facilities. The location to the airport is very convenient and our room was very comfortable.the ambience and decor. I was only there for about 12 hours the tea/coffee facilites were difficult to access from the cupboard where it was site, requires a lot of twisting and bending!. The "open plan bathroom" is not what I prefer..Front office staff not very efficient. The shower door is really dangerous. The rubber edge acts like a glue when you shower and it is very easy to get stuck inside the shower. I spent 5 minutes in total panic trying to ´get out from the shower. I am sure someone sooner or later gets stuck for a hole day. There was no coffee maker in the room, nor was there a bathtub. The internet charge of 40HK per hour should not be charged, it should be free.the lack of free internet access for the international traveler is inappropriate. the kitchen should open earlier than 6:30 am. check in and check out took too long. it was not busy when i arrived but there was someone needing some help to book tours and no-one to check me in. check out was at a busy time but only 2 staff on the desk serving 2 customers with 6 others waiting. Breakfast not available before 6.00am; likewise the courtesy bus; should not have to pay for internet access.
