The Germanos studios are really really nice. They are run by the owners themselves, and from day one when we arrived to the day we left, these people were really really helpful. Our son got a pretty bad cold and we had to see a doctor. As we didn't speaka word of Greek, as soon as we mentioned to Georgios (the owner) that we needed to bring our son to the doctor, he called his wife and we went directly to the hospital, and then to a private doctor (and he did all the talk for us). all reviews » We stayed only for one night but our experience with Germanos studios was great! Mr Germano was extremely kind and picked us up from the port when we arrived to the island. Later, since we were with our baby daughter in her push chair, he took us to the town and in the evening picked us up again and took us back to the studio. In the following morning he finally took us to the airport. All this for free! We were astonished with his kindness. Other than that, the view from the studios is just am. Germanos Studios is located close to the core of Mykonos. You have a fantastic view of the town and the sea! George picked us up from the Port and also dropped us off at the airport after our stay. He got us acquainted with the town after our arrival. He extended extra ordinary service by letting us stay in our studio after the checkout time as our flight was still at 7pm. View. The fact that the studios are far (walking) from the town (mainly when walking uphill - quite steep). However, Mr Germanos knows of that and will do his best to pick you up and drop you off in the town. A bit tiring road up from town center to the hotel. But it's good after delicious greek suppers))). None. The room was too small for 3 beds. If you stay in the room alone - it is ok, as you do not need much space. But for 3 people it could be a problem. The way back from the city can be a bit difficult for those, who have problems with health - you need to go up the hill almost all the way. The walk to the town at night had a small stretch which was barren and without street lights. -Wish there was a pool, but we went to the beaches every day anyway!. The walk into Mykonos town is only 10 minutes, but is fairly steep. This is offset by the fantastic views and peacefulness at the studios. To get to facilities (supermarket, cafes, shops, etc) have to walk down steps from the hotel. Only about an easy 10 mins down, but a bit more challenging coming back up. Absolutely nothing (I regret to not stayed there longer!). We enjoyed the walk in and out of town, but the many stairs would be difficult for anyone of reduced mobility or with strollers. Everything was fine!!!. Some rooms have a little shower without curtain. The terrace in the upper level is shared (less privacy). Small kitchenette area. The room had everything except for shampoo and body wash fluid for showering. Also breakfast is not available. The walk to the center was far and difficult. Quite a steep climb up from town if you are not fit. too far from town, need to walk a long way to the hotel, not very convenient in the night. Steep hill.
