  We enjoyed Chania and the hotel very much. We live in Crete (East) but have not been to Chania before and we found the old port to be very beautiful. We loved the design of the hotel and the position for walking out and about the town. We were staying overnight before flying from Chania airport for the 1st time and we did not realise the tow - Located a block from the harbor and right in the heart of Old Town Chania, Palazzo Duca is perfect! It is a fancy place--beautiful, clean, and polished. Every staff member is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our hotel room was a palace! Very comfortable king size bed, sitting area with table and chairs, patio with view of harbor with table and chairs, a kitchenette in the room stocked with dishes, utensils, cooking pans plus refrigerator. The bathroom was lovely with a heavenly large shower.

  The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a quick chat with them everyday. The rooms used to be cleaned every day. It was extremely important for us - people with little children. The building is not that far away from historical downtown (20 - 25 min walking with children) but definitely i - It is the second time we visit Magia Apts. We like this place because it is close to old town and to the center and at the same time Magia Apts are quiet and peacefull. We are very satisfied from our stay at a clean and pleasant room and from the kindly staff.

  VERY romantic rooms! Atmosphere in the rooms were definitely made with love and you can feel it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They are ready to fulfill all you wishes to make you happy. And also very open and ready to talk or give advise about Crete. The whole impression left the best memories after the trip.   The staff was extremely nice. They booked a taxi to the airport for us for a very good price and they recommended us good restaurants and places to visit. The location of the hotel is also perfect, close to the city center but far away from the noise.   The apartments were lovely, a welcome change from hotels. There was plenty of space, bathroom lovely and cooking hob worked fine. Plenty of parking. Walk into Chania takes about half an hour, and beach only five minutes away. Our ferry to Crete was delayed by more than two hours so we were a bit worried, as the booking info said check-in was only ... what people say » open until 10.30pm. When we called up to explain, they assured us there'd.be someone at the bar until late, and when we were further delayed they stay - We added the half-board option and were spoilt by the chef and restaurant crew. Excellent food with good variations of international cuisine and Greek specialties. The hotel offers a cozy, familiar atmosphere. The location offers quick and easy acess to the major roads if you want to explore the Island by car. Easy to acess the City center of Chania by bus, taxi or car or just to take a walk along the beach.

I would definitely recommend staying here!

She brought my clothes to a laundromat; mailed a rare fruit specimen (legally) to the United States; and when I lost my cellphone, picked it up (after I left Crete) and mailed it home.
