The view from the top 7th floor was spectacular.The buses and trams stopped right - The hotel was excellent. The staff could not do enough to help and went out of their way on several occasions . It suited us location wise as we stayed one night at the beginning of our holiday before sailing from the marina opposite.   Tony and his family were exceptionally kind and helpful. We stayed there the night before and the night after our cruise which left from Athens. Great place to stay if you have a little one. We were traveling with our 13 month old daughter. This pack'n'play was much longer than the typical one in the us. I think it was almost as long as a crib. Our daught - - Location- we walked everywhere, including Acropolis, Plaka district, Flea markets, etc. Everything is walking distance and if needed, metro is nearby. - Owner, Tony, was very welcoming, cheerful, and took a lot of pride in his hotel.   Stayed at Marble House again for a 2nd time gives me the impression that they have a continues improvement in almost everything. Greeted by Christos upon check-in, looked like I was coming home. The whole family is perfect, with great suggestions ready to prepare your itinerary. They even print their own maps of the city with places of interest ... what people say » for your visit. Rooms are updated, very clean and daily made from the housekeeping, with excellent WiFi connection. But what is unique for this prope - Everything in that place was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly people there. A lot of information about the visiting areas in Athens and also information on how to visit each place. The room was excellent and very clean. They give us everything we needed without charge. They even extend our check out until night without charge. It was also provided a computer with WiFi without charge. The location of the hotel is very near from the Athens city centre (10 mins walk).
