the staff was amazing, especially when I got sick they went to get medication for me, always with a smile, felt like family,they were getting my messages delivered to my room no matter how may were.the breakfast buffet was great with fresh fruits , omelets, greek breakfast,cheeses and cold cuts,all kinds of marmalades,honey,fresh bread all kinds, yogurts, pastries, I don't have enough space to say how many things. The view from the top 7th floor was spectacular.The buses and trams stopped right.
all reviews » The hotel was excellent. The staff could not do enough to help and went out of their way on several occasions . The breakfast was lovely too and we really enjoyed the roof top bar by the swimming pool. It suited us location wise as we stayed one night at the beginning of our holiday before sailing from the marina opposite. However, the hotel was so good that we went back there at the end of the holiday too and used it as a base for sightseeing. The tram stop for the Acropolis is directly opposi. This was my second stay at the Poseidon Hotel in the last 6 months and have been very satisfied on both occasions, the breakfast at the hotel is excellent for selection and quality, staff always friendly and helpful, this time the room was a little bit small but still very comfortable. I would recommend to anyone this hotel. The location is perfect for the marinas, beaches, public transport (bus and tram) to the centre of Athens, Pireus and Glyfadas is directly in front of the hotel. The expres. We enjoyed a one night stay at this hotel before going onto our sailing trip. Great hotel with a pool and bar on the roof top with great views. The pool closes coming into the evening but the bar stays opens. Great frozen Margaritas! Great value for money with 2 connecting rooms including breakfast and very close to Alimos Marina. The restaurant was across the road situated on the beach with great views. Overall great hotel, clean friendly and helpful staff. Nothing bad to say and would d. Beautiful view from our balcony. the hotel is at the Edem station of trum line 3, you can take the trum line from sigtagma. we get a sea view suite room, so it is quite comgortable. and there is a perfect restrant near there, it is thd best supper we have during the whole journey. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was big and comfortable. A mini bar in the room was a welcome as we arrived late at night. They have a rooftop deck with beautiful views and a nice pool. It was clean and spacious. No complaints whatsoever!. The room was on the small side, but balcony was a bonus. The parking was not very convenient and the street in front of the hotel is quite a busy, noisy one, but it did not disturb our sleep. single room was pretty small, even though the bed was generally good, pillow was too flat, room was noisy, particularly in the night. still a great value for money for a single traveler. No free wifi.....come on.....really???? Even our accommodation on a small greek island had free wifi, as did every single other hotel we stayed in during our 6 week European holiday.Also, the beach chairs belonging to the hotel cost 5.50 euros each to sit on (as did a patch of sand per person) when 2 meters to the right the sand was free... The single room is really small. A balcony is also small and looks into the inner yard, so I used it to dry my swimming shorts only. I fully paid for the room before arrival, so it was a special price. Otherwise price looks a bit steep for 3-star hotel. the beach in covered with gravel which may harm your foot. *It was a shame that those staying at the hotel were also charged 5.5 Euro for a lounger on the beach opposite. *We felt very sorry for the waiters at the Tavern having to cross that busy road with hot meals from the Hotel...invest in a bridge! *NO complaints otherwise! x. a little noise outside since there is a main road in front of the hotel, but when you close the window, it is quite quiet. we leave early in the morning, the breakfast is not good. it is a bit expensive also. N/A. Acoustic privacy between rooms non-existent. Dining Room dinner prices very pricey. Rooftop terrace advertised but not open. Having to pay for Internet access. Rate is high and is just there for extra profits. The hotel needed to be revamped as all the hotel furniture and bedding feels used. That said it is still very good value for money . It wasn't very close to the city center but if it were, it wouldn't be directly across from the beach, so it's not really a complaint. Just something to note. Access to the beach was across the street and you had to pay per person to sit at the beach. Only disdvantage I saw, is that hotel does not have free internet. It's not the downtown, but if you are ok with travelling 30 minutes by tram or bus - then beach is an advantage. The food in the restaurant is not 5* (of course I don't mean breakfasts). On the last night, there was a wedding on the 7th floor where the pool is. We could hear noise up until 0300 in the morning. The staff was very friendly but there was nothing they could do until the wedding was over. You need to pay for wi-fi, which is last century, you also need to pay for the sunbeds even if you are a guest of the hotel. Some people at the reception were not nice at all for no reason. Nothing. Rooms on the first floor have view to the wall. Small delay checking in but the staff was very helpful. bad balcony and window wiew. Having to pay for internet, this should be included. One Staff member (FO Manager) was unfortunately not up to the standard of the rest and was in fact so negative that she spoiled the entire experience. Near main street so noisy, but every hotels before sea and near the centre of the city have that... Not so comfortable lobby bar much lights in the evening and night. Would be nice to have free wifi in hotel. Better to add an extra € onto the original tariff and make it free than charge extra these days. This was the ninth hotel that we stayed in during our trip through Greece and the second most expensive and the only one to charge for local calls and Internet connection, who does that anymore? Carpet in room was stained and in need of replacement. A bit noisy from outside and no complimentary water in a room. light in the room wants to be brighter. Far away from the city center. However you can walk to the metro station (about 15 minutes). a bit too near motorway but got used to it. Nothing. The only bad thing is that the air condition has no remote control. You have to get up from the bed to close it... Next to very busy road Area around not clean. Noise from the road, not very comfortable bed. Small bathroom. Everything is clean but not new.
