Clean and comfortable for a Youth Hostel. buffet breakfast opening early at 6.45am. clean rooms and bathrooms. The friendliness between guests - we only stayed a day and left with a load of e/-mail addresses!. Perfect service and easy access by public communication. It was far from center but it had a tram(1or 2 min away) nearby that goes to Karlsplaz (10 min). The noise from the nearby disco. coffee machine broke down for atime in the morning alsono fruit juice. The trees near the terrace are in desperate need of being cleaned frominsects! The aphids keep on falling on the tables and make the treeslook quite sad... I'm serious - the whole operation wouldn't cost muchand would make the place look much better! Really - do it!!!. The showers.The actual showers have this little thing built in that you have to keep pushing in order to get water,that is the wrong place to save a euro.They are also not so private...but you can live with that. a little bit noisy at night (discothek). wardrobes were actually "school lockers". good breakfast but no fruit juices.Too much dairy products can sometimes promote indigesion.Also hotel staff need to check identity of resident before handing over the room keys in view of large number of persons staying at the hotel.To much noise. It was cold in the room. Its a hostle, not a hotel... You can enter in your room only after 14:00. Front entrance was shut and we always had to use a dark alleyway around the rear of the hotel to gain access. No english speaking channels on tv except for some mtv.Shower was a little bit unuseful. People not following the rules about quiet times. Also, it is not advertised that alcohol is not allowed on the premises, which may make some people not want to stay in this particular hostel/hotel.very noisy in the nights due to poor acoustics. Kids from hotel stay late at night talking outside. Move them indoors or out and it would help a great deal.It is quite far from the city centre and the train station, specially if you have bags... about 45 minutes walking fast or you take a metro and after walk more 15 min. Very loud disco until 1am which can be heard 2 floors up. Why is this the case when the hostel states that guest should keep noise to a minimum after 10pm????. The rooms were very basic - only a bin, table and two chairs (and asmall cupboard). No bar fridge or any standard hotel facilities. Theaccommodation fell somewhere between an expensive hostel (with none ofthe charm) and a cheap hotel (with none of the facilities). disco underground is noisy, almost can not bare it!. Not enough toilets, showers should have doors that lock, not just a shower curtain. We found the hotel very noisy as no carpeting meant all noise travelled a long wayl The secruity systems on the doors did not always function well,. noise. you do not allow alcohol inside, but there were plenty of people drinking, same goes for smoking. there was a lot of noise late at night. the room was extremely expensive yet very basic and the shower didnt work properly so i had to use another one in the middle of the night which kept me up until 2am. the staff was nice but didnt really know what to do.noizy. In fact it's hostel. The was a strange smell in the room, linen was dirty.Noise and poor quality - Must be in the range of 30-60€ not above. Almost everything is negative. They lie about internet freeavailability. Eventhough we staid *after* oktoberfest, too noisy becauseof their business: a disco at night. They go through your stuff. Morethan once we came back to the room to find our stuff "compromised". Theydo clear that "they have the right to look through your stuff", still acomplete invasion of privacy. Not recommended!!. Noisy.
