We were made to feel welcome from our check in to our last good bye. It was wonderful to get to know the owners who were present days and evenings, and everyone of the staff was efficient and sincere. Jobst gave us wonderful tips and even came out to say goodbye to us early since he wouldn't be there when we checked out. Location was wonderful for walking and touring. Wonderful bed, great breakfasts and serving staff, and really loved the Burmese pieces from the owners' years there for the .

They had prepared a baby bed for us, this was surprise and every their consideration to any guests including small children is marvelous. We never felt timid with a child. As other reviews, breakfast was very fresh and we think the BEST we ever had at the hotel. It was nice, too that there was a tub at the shower space. We felt like our house rather than a hotel during. Everything. Location: Schwabing neighborhood, three U-Bahn stops from Zentrum and just two blocks from the English Garden. Staff: the owners were on location everyday and the young staff offered suggestions from museums, dining (even a superb Indian restaurant a short bus ride away), to traveling hints. Facilities: sizable rooms with very comfortable beds -- quiet as well. Breakfast: many options including perfectly soft- boiled eggs. Definitely the value about which other travelers have commen. This family run hotel was a delight to stay at. The small staff does everything from reception to bartending and serving breakfast. The sumptuous breakfast buffet was delicious with offerings from fruit and cold meats and fish to cooked to order items. The small bar was a fun place to socialize in the evening. The neighborhood offered great restaurant options and was in close proximity to both the subway system and the lovely English Garden. I would staying there again. Extremely small and stuffy rooms, no mini bar or refrigerator in rooms, only two irons and ironing boards in the whole hotel, no air conditioning, room service enters room even if do not disturb sign is on door, expensive for the lack of services they provide.
