  Pfefferbett is a really cool hostel that's been recently renovated. It's modern and clean and has a range of excellent facilities. Luggage storage is handy and the buffet breakfast for €6.50 is great value and has good variety. Room with private bathroom was really nice and very clean. Fairly big secure locker included in the price, each bed has a light and electricity socket, my room had a private bathroom too even if not specified in the booking, not sure if all rooms have it.

  These are beautiful apartments with excellent and friendly staff. We had a 4-person room and had plenty of space. The pull-out couch was actually very comfortable. The accomodations are clean, new, and very well thought out. These apartments are managed through the nearby Raja Jooseppi Cafe and, despite first appearances, this was in fact a lovely little cafe with very friendly staff and some of the best coffee in Berlin.   It was awesome to be in the hotel... Really nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, all services. I was in an individual room and after I moved in a shared room and both were good. The localization was perfect - preuzaler berguer- east side area with nice shops and bars and one station from Alexanderplatz... Alive music and a great place f... what people say » or travelers... The best hotel /hostal I've been. - The staff were really helpful and friendly. I really like the fact that even sharing the room with other people we could have some privacy and space, having beds with courtines and drawres were we can lock our stuff. The communal areas were cleaned and the breakfast were good as well. I certainly recomment it!

  We loved the location but it might not be for everyone, it was not even a 5 minute walk to Alexander platz which was great as where we stayed was quite quiet. The staff were excellent and the hotel was lovely and always immaculate! We didn't get the breakfast so I can't comment on that, but there was bakeries everywhere, so don't feel the need to ... what people say » get it! We had a great time! We would definitely return. - While not most modern it is well maintained & managed. Everything worked as it should and staff friendly and extremely helpful. (Stefanie the best concierge we have sruck - anywhere). Two minutes walk to public transport and tickets available at hotel. Complimentary croissants and coffee from 5.30 to 6.30 great for early departure.
