It was awesome to be in the hotel... Really nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, all services. I was in an individual room and after I moved in a shared room and both were good. The localization was perfect - preuzaler berguer- east side area with nice shops and bars and one station from Alexanderplatz... Alive music and a great place for travelers... The best hotel /hostal I've been.
all reviews » The staff were really helpful and friendly. I really like the fact that even sharing the room with other people we could have some privacy and space, having beds with courtines and drawres were we can lock our stuff. The communal areas were cleaned and the breakfast were good as well. I certainly recomment it!. easy to reach by metro, rather close to some main sights and museums, street view, room closest to access door so a bit noisy from doors and late-early passers, but earplug manageable. Good size rooms and showers. good food/beer. Very good hostel in a beautiful old building in a downtown, short walk from Alexanderplatz. Staff is very helpful and enthusiastic. Rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast is really good. Food and beer are in good prices. Everything :) The bar downstairs is very nice, everyone was very friendly, the band that played saturday night was great, the beds are confortable and the metro station is almost inside the hostel :). I had booked a single room and got an upgrade to a suite. Staff were very nice and helpful, the location is excellent and the bar downstairs is very lively. Overall, a very good stay. really Nice , a Nice bar at ground floor, Nice staff. right infront of u station and 24 hour reception , storage room for free and storage box with pay. and breakfast included. everything perfect! really! metro station/bus stop/alexander platz station very close. about hostel: clean room and showers, good breakfast and funny evening at the bar !. the hostel staff were amazing people, friendly and helpful indeed. the location of the hostel is a few minutes walk away from the central part of Berlin. I thought it was a lovely hostel with a nice friendly and helpful staff which was a lot better than a many hotels I have stayed at in Europe and the UK. Everything was excellent, location, cleanliness, value for your money, staff. The bar is an excellent alternative and you can meet many people. Having only one elevator and the fact that the door doesn't stop if you try to get in after it starts to close. i didnt have curtain for my bed that night. but it's OK wifi in common area but not room. There was not WI-FI signal in the room, only in the bar. Not very confortable, but no hostel is... I was aware of that before going there. The showers were not clean as the rooms. nada. Weak happy hour drinks, no wonder they were only €2.50. bad smell of the rooms , the load music in the hostel pub was bothering us in the rooms and also it makes talking with the reception so hard for both of u to hear each other. The lockers could have been larger. I could not fit my travel backpack in one and really would have liked to. The reception in a very loud pub downstairs is quite scary...but upstairs is not that loud. leaving :(. Wi-fi doesn't work very well in the rooms. Nothing. the cleaning lady wasn't very nice. WiFi absent or really slow, No common spaces without loud music, Guys pub's staff. Staff not at desk quite often Rooms on the first floor get quite a bit of noise from the bar. rooms are little bit smelly and wiffi does not work in rooms. Just no hot water. Toilet and bath on outside the room. Wifi not working. Very old building. Saturday night loud music from bar coming through to second floor dormitory room. paid for internet connection on inn's computer and next day , computers were not working and no refund or explanation offered. meagre breakfast and lack of social area for residents separated from belushis bar and the general public. rude staff that were extremely unhelpful. bar staff would prefere to chat amongst themselves and leave you standing there for a long time. generally disappointed with all aspects of the staff here, nothing friendly about them. we were clearly annoying them when we wanted any small amount of assistance. pity because the place was so clean and the apartment was great, also so close to everything you need. Bathroom and showers really filthy. Noise outside room throughout the night: shouting, music, doors slamming. Totally no wifi in the room, only public area has the wifi. However, public area is a bar, it's too crowded and noisy in the night. The smell always was bad in the rooms and corridor. they first sent me to a room that was not ready (used and not cleaned). Most of the guest are young and make a lot of noise drunk in the corridor. If u dont like noise dont go there. Lack of power outlets in the room. Elevator was old and in bad shape. The room didn't get cleaned in 4 days even after requesting that they do so.
