Right in the middle of town yet very quiet. Easy reach of all Hamburg attractions. Easy access to the hotel from the train and easy to find train, toursand airport shuttle all across the street, and rooms were were cleanand tidy, though not much bagage room, the breakfast room was great andvery well laid out and good selection, on the whole a great positionand choice.Excellent location for transport links. Hotel staff were very friendly and we took the option of having breakfast on 2 occasions and this set us up for the day. Quick check-in and check out. Comfortable bed.frendly staff made me feel at home. The staff and the service. That it is in the center. I did like the central placing to Central Station and the nice comfort in the room. It was a very nice comfotable room whit all what to need and very relaxing stay.Easy walking distance from the Hauptbahnhof, very convenient. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. the fact that the hotle was centered in the middle of hamburg and was close to the local night life. Street life by night (Hamburg Main Station), my chamber was not climatized, opening of windows is necessary during sleeping.the way to the room is not easy in the way or with stears. The rooms were fairly quite but one morning a man a few rooms awaymade several phone calls around 5am which went on for 1.30 hrs and thesound of his voice boomed through the hall into our room which made ithard to sleep.The only slight problem was the size of our bedrooms. They could have been somewhat larger. Room very hot and stale air on arrival. No Airconditioning facing wrong way to open window at time of day - would have been hotter.the reservation was made for a double room with one bed, and we receive two single beds. There was no normal answer from hotel how is the easier way to get from aeroport to the hotel,also in aeroport was no correct answer that shutlle bus is going directly. Only to leave the key each time you leave og ask for it again each time you come to the hotel again. Being asked to pay fro breakfast when this hotel always include it in their price if booked direct.May be something of room service. There was short of soap in our room during all our stay. They do not accept the vat form from the military. Staff spokenegatively about the request to use vat form.The furniture is quite old and the mattress is very uncomfortable. no kettle in room. Noise level. No Internet access service.no mini bar at room,no luggage delivery place. First of all they did not have a double non-smoking room available forus. "Non-smoking" is only preference and hence you are not guarannteedto have it. Also the hotel was not suitable for someone with a heavyluggage because it has a very inconveniently complex structure insideand I had to carry my luggage up and down the stairs.
