Very friendly staff, big and comfortable rooms, quite high speed free internet, free ticket for using all transportation facilities in city during the stay, etc. we felt that we are in our home. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was excellent quite a range of food to suit everyone's taste. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Warm too. Small hotel run by very friendly and helpful people. room and price. The yard outside to spend some time when you are not busy, we were able to buy cheap train tickets in the hotel. Staff was very helpful. Efficient staff, City won. Quiet location easily accessable from train station and town centre. Central location, good rates, quiet, no frills but adequate. Hotel's yard, breakfast, 2 euro daily transportation pass.We have been at boat show. nice breakfast , motel style rooms, good price. Relax atmosphere,,free use of internet. The main problem was the style of the beds,they were box beds andvery low,and I also thought that there there could have beenkitchen equipment in the room,s we did ask for a kettle and cupsand saucers which we got,but I feel that they should have been inthe rooms on arrival . I wanted to buy transportation ticket, but they said the tickets are finished. And all the rooms have not kitchen facilities.the cost was outragous for the standard of hotel. Hotel/Room incorrect.Very low sound insulation. All sounds from the next rooms are accurately audible. Size of room, size of bed, cleanliness of room, cleanliness of bed, comfort of bed.Dirty and mouldy with no insulation in walls. The hotel was dreadful, overpriced, unhelpful staff who were never there, terrible decor with no facilities, old and outdated furniture. Sheets with holes in them, rusty fittings in the bathroom.We did nolt like anything about this hotel.

Due to the fact that the hotel is surrounded by many apartments it is required that guests, particularly those in groups are respective in regards to noise during the evenings.
No parties are allowed at the premises.

How to get there:
1) From the main train station: (via tram)
From the main station, take tram no. 708 towards D-Hamm or tram no. 709 towards Universität until you reach the Helmholtzstraße stop. Turn right into Hütten Strasse, then left into Herzog Strasse and you will see the V.IP. The hotel is on your left.
2) From the main train station: (on foot)
Take the south exit and follow the tram tracks on your left until you reach the first street (Pionier strasse). Walk through to the first crossing, and you will see the V.I.P. Hotel opposite you.
3) Directions from the hotel to the International Fair Düsseldorf:
Take the U-Bahn (underground) line U78 towards the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), then take tram no. 708 or 709 to Helmholtzstraße.
