Hotel near to railway station which itself user only a 6 minute train journey from the airport. Hotel rooms were large and well appointed with chairs and table. Breakfast was very good and staff there very friendly. Pleasant large breakfast room with classical music played in the background. Delightful. The sauna, steam room etc was wonderful set in a fitness centre with decorative murals, ceiling paintings, and lighting effects. The ambience was first class with very clean facilities. Must se.

This hotel is investing in reducing it's carbon footprint with solar panels and LED lighting. Worth supporting. Great value for money city centre hotel. The staff were very helpful and when we had a problem with our 1st room they moved us and did all the moving while we went out. The staff help with information when requested or found out. The breakfast was excellent. The location was excellent to the shops and train station. The staff gave us a map of the city. We had a triple room which was very spacious and very clean. The choice of breakfast was excellent. There was hot & cold food and no restrictions on going back for more to eat. The hotel was only a short walk from the main station and about a 15 minute walk to the old town. Excellent hotel with good breakfast, but overall was very pricey compared to other places we have stayed in Europe. A bit of a walk to the historical district, but was close to the train station. The trams are fairly easy to navigate in Dusseldorf. the breakfast was excellent, 1st class selection, no matter what you like to start the day. plenty of room in the shower cubicle, which was well cleaned. only 10 mins walk from the railway station, and 10 mins walk to the aldstadt and river. the location was great. near the train station and shops in a quiet area. the rooms were great and the breakfast was fantastic with a great choice on the buffet and staff at hand to get anything else required. In our room the bathroom was clean and well appointed but was so very cramped with no space to move. The smallest bathroom I have encountered: there were 8 inches between the lavatory front and the wall, when using the sink the door was close to one's bottom and drying oneself after a shower was difficult within the confines of what was essentially a 3 feet x 8 feet 'box'. Room and bed was a little small, though still capable of a comfortable night's sleep. There is nothing we disliked. The adjuster on the height of the shower head did not work so you had to hold it in place or squat down. Although the hotel is on a quiet enough road you can be disturbed by some of the residents in the apartment block across the road coming and going in the early hours of the morning. Although to be fair it would not stop me using the hotel again. A little pricey for what you get. The pillows were too soft, felt like you didn't have one. That would be my only gripe. would have loved a jacuzzi with the leisure room. The style(design) for std dbl room is bit outdated. I did not notice conditioner in room, which might be a problem when outside t goes above 30degr C. nothing. - Only one tv Arabic Channel provided, I am sure they can add more ( Aljazeera is a good channel Bur we need to see more in the future please ) - No coffee and tea self service at the room. My room was abot 12 square meters included the bathroom. The lady from the reception told me that is very normal in Germany and this is the standards for 4 stars hotels. To be more specific this was the smallest hotel room that I ever seen. Sauna temperature was too low. The curtains didn't block out the lights from the parking space below and thus it was light all night. Couldn't adjust temperature of room, check in was very late. It is little far away from old town. 1)There is no real bar in the hotel 2) No opportunity to make foreign calls from room using phone card 3)Poor noise isolation from neighbor. some not so solid fitness machines. Driving access is not easy due to one way circuits but the parking made up for that once there. Smallish room, tiny and really bland reception area. the shades of the room, very clear and the room was full of light : (. Room a bit too small. poor toiletries.
