I liked the proximity to the central train station and the quietness of the area. The staff was very helpful with answers to my question, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was more than sufficient. Continental breakfast, nearness to train station, pleasant staff, the great review we read about on your site. Infact the family and I feel too confort and any time we will come to Koln we will stay at CityInn Hotel with room number 2 the same room.The breakfast was excellent. with excellent staff, too kind poeple. all reviews »
Location of the hotel is close to the railway station.Was a very good room considering how cheap the room was compared to the others availlable. Breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold food, Staff were friendlier than many other German hotels I've stayed at. Room was very quiet despite central location. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent and well valued. They helped solve all problems created by poor communications.We were stayed room No.4, building 3. Location was very very good, near hauptbanhof, shopping street, in front of merto station!! It was a good room considering how cheap the room was compared to the others availlable. Room was very quiet despite central location. Breakfast was also good. It would have been more convenient if the hotal was equipped with a lift. You'll need a map to find it as it on a quiet little street. Also the hotel is split over a couple of buildings, rather than one large building. These are very minor issues and would not stop me reconmending this hotel. They charged well in advance of my visit and charged me extra when I arrived. They closed the reception and locked me out of the hotel by 22:30 on my second day. The rented my room to someone else with my luggage in the room. They had poor communication between staff members. They did not offer any rate decrease because of my scary experience of having no place to stay temporarily. They cannot accept any creditcards at the payment. Cash only. Someone pushed the doorbell of all the rooms and had been troubled at midnight.(only once). Yes been on the top floor in the attic.

- Exit and continue to Mindener Strasse for approximately 437 metres.
- Exit and drive via Deutzer Bridge on the L111 for approximately 1.19 km.
- Exit and turn right onto Tunisstrasse.
- Continue for approximately 504 metres and exit turning right onto Glockengasse.
- Follow this street for 55 metres.
- Exit and turn right onto Schwertnergasse.
- Follow the street for approximately 78 metres.
- Exit and continue straight ahead onto Auf der Ruhr for approximately 79 metres.
- Exit the street and turn right onto Appellhof Square where the hotel is located.
From Cologne - Bonn airport:
- Take the A59 towards Cologne, Düsseldorf for approximately 2.8 km.
- Turn onto the A559 towards Aachen, Cologne, Köln-Porz, Köln-Gremberghoven.
- Follow the A559 for approximately 7.8 km.
- Exit the A559 towards Cologne-Kalk and drive towards Deutz, Cologne arena, city house, Cologne fairgrounds and the East access road.
- Then follow the instructions above.
From Cologne train station:
- Take the Dom exit and walk towards Trankgasse and Zeughaus.
- Continue straight ahead onto Komödienstraße.
