High quality spotless hotel. Never seen so much choice at breakfast. Friendly staff and nice bar with tapas menu. Lovely pool area, steam room and saunas. Spacious, comfortable room and very modern. Water restocked in room daily. Nice position next to lake and well worth its 4 stars. Included was travel for 2 days and tour bus. We had a lovely break. Being able to go straight from your room to the wellness part e.g.: sauna, steambath etc. sauna towels already in the room. Very friendly staff. Extreme low prices in Bistro (Euro 6 for a complete plate service).

It is a bit remote but as previous Reveiws stated the bus and Rail network is good to transfer.Our package through booking.com included travel passes for bus and trains which was ideal. There was no snack available in the mini fridge inside the room. There are no vending machines to dispense food items. I woke up hungry in the wee hours of the morning when everything is closed. I had to wait 3 hours until breakfast to get something to eat.Slight mix up in type of room. We were first given a smoking room, but when we asked, they changed us to a non-smoking one quickly. The nearest underground railway station is 800m away from the hotel. We parked our car (for free) to the nearest underground railway station of line 2 and went from there directly to the city centre.rooms are a bit old-fahioned. If using public transportation it is useful to know the hotel is half an hour away from Berlin city center. the location is not great, but manageable.Service at breakfast on the second day was very bad :( The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. I asked 3 times and waited over half an hour for my coffee. The hotel staff doesn't speak English well.a bit far from the centre. germans always do twin beds have they never heard of cuddles.

Travelling information

By car:
- Take the A100 city motorway towards Charlottenburg and exit at Siemensdamm
- Continue until Juliusdamm, proceed straight ahead until Nonnendamm and turn right at the roundabout in Spandau, to enter Neuendorfer Straße
- After 800 metres, you will find the hotel on your right-hand side

From Tegel Airport, the hotel can be accessed in 15 minutes, via the A110.

By public transport:
- Take the underground line U7 to Rathaus Spandau or the S9 or S75 S-Bahn trains to Spandau station
- If you are arriving from the Zoologischer Garten station or Schönefeld Airport, take the RE regional train.
