This was a fabulous small hotel in the heart of a great neighbourhood of Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg. Unbelievable location in quiet area yet steps from the hip shops and cafes in this great area. The room was huge and fantastic with two big bathrooms. Breakfast was great! Loved the lobby, and the entrance to the hotel, and pretty much everything about it!. Comprehensive breakfast everyday - excellent! Staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Shower room well kitted out with new fittings - brilliant shower! Good travel connections. Good restaurants in locality.

Staff were excellent and tried their best to remedy the main fault we had with the air con, opening our double room to a suite where the air con was working. Not ideal, but they tried very hard. No, apparent, facilities to get tea, coffee or snack when arriving late at night after long journey. it would have been nice to have a kettle and tea/coffee in the room. Coffee not very good. Room a little small. No air conditioning and limited air circulation. Too many people at breakfast. Parking not so easy. 12 euro for a small brandy. Shower. The limitted wi-fi connection.
