Euro stars is in central location with easily accessible transport links. The staff from our arrival, we're professional, courteous and eager to pass on local knowledge, and happy to converse in German or English. The room was spotlessly clean and had a huge bed, no less than you would expect. Breakfast was great, it was well set out and always plenty of variety, prompt waiting staff will to assist with all queries. If we are back in Berlin we'll be back. all reviews » Hotel was walking distance to most of the sights. Once you find the hotel it is easy to find your way back. The difficulty was by car locating the hotel and how to drive there. The entrance is not on a main road but on a tiny 1-way street that runs between 2 main roads. A friend who grew up in Berlin was driving me and we circled a few times before spotting the entrance to the hotel. I'm sure a taxi driver would have no trouble locating it. Lots of shops nearby as well as a train station. The staff was great! Since I was traveling with small children, I requested a connecting room. However, I was not notified prior to arriving that there were no connecting rooms. However, the staff was wonderful about the situation and accomodated us as much as possible. The hotel was fabulous and clean. My children loved the pool and room accomodation. My family ate in the restuarant and raved over the breakfast. Thanks for a wonderful vacation. The building design is amazing: an impressive piece of modern architecture. The location is excellent in the most central neighborhood of Berlin, the Mitte, just next to the train station and Friedrich Strasse, the main shopping street, and close to August Strasse one of the nicest street, full of pubs and restaurants. The room was large and new and very clean. The staff was gentle. Great value for money!. The very friendly stuff has upgraded a better room for me - seperate bedroom and living room. Everything is very clean and comfortable. The internet is very fast. Many different choices of breakfast with piano playing outside the restaurant. There's a good restaurant right outside the hotel. It will be my first choice when I go to Berlin again. But I will bring my swimming suit next time there!. The hotel is superbly located in Berlin, near major attractions and good restaurants. From the moment we walked into the air conditione hotel, from the vigorously hot street, we knew we'd made the right choice. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff, to well appointed bedrooms and perfectly positioned to see the sights of Berlin. The hotel is located in an excellent place, just between the two main touristic regions of Berlin: the Brandenburg gate and the TV tower, booth at walking distance. There are lots of restaurants close to the hotel as well as easy public transportation. The hotel staff is very nice and happy to help. We loved our staying and I really do recommend the hotel. The staff were excellent! They gave wonderful dining recommendations and directions to sight seeing locations. You can get there very easily, the station Friedrichstraße is only some 100 metres away and only one stop away from the central station (Hauptbahnhof). Absolutly nothing to say , Perfect quality for the price of a standard hotel. Spanish speakers will feel confortable cause almost everybody speak Spanish. A place to go if you want to visit Berlin or for a confortable step in the town. Everything about this place is 5 star. This place was the best place that we stayed in on our 7 week holiday. Even an advice to the hotel is not necessary. Everything is perfect. Couldn't stay longer. The internet was slow and not stable. You have to log in several times. Did not have english or french or spanish tv channels...only german. Did not refill minibar daily...missed that. None of the taxi drivers knew the hotel...luckily I had a good reference point (the local ubahn station is across the street). Internet was not stable. Nothing. There was nothing I didn't like. I could'n see the hotel's name from Friedrichstrase when I arrived because is in small letters, the biggest neon facing that street only says hotel. The fact I had to leave. The air conditioning was erratic and insufficient, had to change one of our 2 rooms as was stifling hot and uncomfortable to sleep in. The breakfast was very expensive, better to eat out at a local cafe such as Einstein Cafe. All was good about this hotel. Nothing. our room faced the train station and the trains come quite often. It didn't interfere with my husband's or my sleep, so it was fine, but it was quite loud. Nothing to dislike. The wifi was a little slow, but still effective. They do not have enough what a normal 5 star hotel has. No restaurant, They only have the bar. The Sauna was not working. I would give this hotel a 4 start instead of a 5 star; the coffee in the room is basically the normal nescafee and they always forgot about the creamer. I had to constantly remind them. No complaints, all as advertised. Could do with a couple of English channels on the tv, but the free WiFi more than makes up.. Channel choice on TV in room. Lack of English TV channels. Got bored with bbc global very quickly :-(. The fitting room on 8th floor is just opposite to my window, when there're people jogging on the facility it's kind of awkward. no :). that we stayed at the hotel only five days and no more then that. - The piano player (not so good and we stayed for nine nights so annoying with the same music every day. - The lunch packs which leaked all over our luggage. If you are going to add fruit salad, use better packaging. - The pool area should be checked by staff a more often. We liked everything!. hotel bar a little small and not much atmosphere. I liked everything except I think the breakfast is a little overpriced. Had to vacate the hotel due to alarm early in the morning, it was not explained but I'm sure that's not going to happen all the time. - Nice to have more English speaking tv channels (maybe a music channel). - There's not a great view, the windows look into the foyer. - As a whole, my stay in the Eurostar was great, nice clean room and good value with great staff. The bar staff made terrible cocktails with and didn't have a clue what they where doing. It was funny but not at that price. garage entrance very diffucult to find, we were driving around lookin gfor it and we finally found it completely by accident (it's behind the hotel, in a street parallel to Friedrichstrasse). The hotel is down a walkway so not situated on the main street. We had some trouble locating the hotel. if you are aware of this then it is easy to find.
