We had a problem with our room (it was smelling smoke) and people from reception had a quick and nice reaction, they changed our room, thing that we appreciate a lot. Breakfast is quite good with a german touch (muesli, german delicatessen and german cheeses, german bread). This is a really confortable hotel (beds and comforters...). Well located (5/10 min from Museum Island, 10 min from Alex / Postadamer platz by Ubahn+walk, 20 min by walking from Brandenburg Tor).

The hotel was situated within walking distance of Museum Island and the Nikolaiviertel so sightseeing was easy. Having a subway station across the street gave us convenient access to the rest of Berlin. Super location, beside u ban, very central for walking to major points of interest, restaurants close to hotel, hotel itself modern in style ,lovely comfort room bright and spacious floor to ceiling windows ,ask for room at back of hotel overlooking small park quieter all in all great hotel for city break. The Staff was very friendly. Really enjoy our stay at the Cosmo Hotel. Nice beds en very clean room. Excellent for a city trip, it takes just 5 minutes to walk to Gendarmemarkt. I would really recommand it. You can rent a bike for a day. Excellent four star hotel. Close to all tourist attractions such as museums, castles, universities etc. Short walk to "Check point Charlie" and not too far from Brandenburg gate. Pillows where supurb. No free WiFi, I really think this should be a minimum at all hotels in 2013!. is paying the internet wifi connection 6,5 euro per day , quiet a lot for a long stay. Unfortuntely sometimes a terrible smell was coming out of the air condition system. Something like spoiled egg. Only complaint would be the air conditioning. There's no actual a/C. Air flow comes from the ceiling and it never really cooled to our liking. If you don't require a cold room, this would be a great choice. I thought the breakfast was average and drinks were quite expensive at the bar. no tea/coffee facilities in room no wi-fi in room. No free wifi in the room and the satellite tv was only with german and some english news channels. 12 euro daily bike rental is not a real day rate (24hr) as you must return the bike by 23:00, otherwise, you get charged an extra half to full day depending on when you return it. Nothing!. My remote control was working poorly, asked for another one (probably low battery malfunction) and the guy who brought it was very rude, almost accusing me of making a flse claim cause the green light of the remote was turning on when pressed - he stayed at the door until I tried the other one,,and the air conditioning at the room did not work - made no difference at the first two nights, but the third night was really hot and..no fresh air. Room on small side but ok. Breakfast expensive. Charged for WiFi. Free Wi-Fi only in the lobby area. Lack of free WiFi and coffe making facilities. Have to pay for Wi-fi in the room adn only an hour free in lobby, shutters didn't work in room so room could not be made dark, shower very weak and temperture not constant, bar closed 12.30pm on Friday night, cleaner left half finished drinks in room. Tv remote buttons rubbed off so could not see functions, tv stand in walk way and stubbed toe on numerous occasions. Area was quiet over the weekend. No tea or coffee in the rooms. the location wasnt the best for tourists. the fact that they dont have a free internet in the room/. Poor wifi. No wifi in the rooms Air conditioning difficult to manage. It didn't have tea or coffee making facilities or complimentary water. The shower didn't work very well. Single duvets on a double bed. Rooms too hot. Breakfast to expensive not free internet hostess horrible : we were 3 personns in business trip and I did not know I had paid the rooms from my collegues by booking them (generally the credit card is given for guarantee) I asked the hostess to regularize the situation by making cn and new invoices and she became awfull and incorrect; this is not accepable in such a hotel and when you are in business trip !. slightly noisy road no wi fi in room (unacceptable in 2013) no tea coffee facilities in room breakfast a bit expensive.
