The response of the receptionist when I forgot the passport and went back quickly was incredibly great! (Making the duplicate key after confirming my flight time, calling a taxi, explaining my situation to the driver and so on). Brand new hotel, Could find no fault whatsoever.only short walk to U Bahn for City. Buffet Breakfast is a Must (only 3 Star? my opinion 4+). Excellent location, comfortable and clean rooms, great facilities! Would really recommend anyone travelling to Berlin to stay here!.

The taxi driver hadsome difficulties finding the hotel, despite using a gps since thestreet was not registered.The 'bar' area being alongside the reception area and being very small didn't seem to be a relaxing atmosphere and had very minimal seating. There should have been af refrigerator, to keep things cold.The fire doors in the corridors need a soft close mechanism as there's a tendency for them to make a noise but it's hardly a problem. Double beds were only single beds pushed side by side!. Internet is not WLAN (wireless) as advertised, but rather it is wired ethernet and requires a new code from the front desk every 24 hours. It is FREE, as advertised, however. Immediate local area is pretty dead but U-Bahn is close and convenient. Breakfast could be better. Leaving your bags after checkout were just left in the lobby. Not secure. the towels not changed sometime, a minibar lacking ( no restaurant at the hotel). Pillows needs improvement. No internet room. No frigobar inside the room.A few doors slamming at night, no wireless, and the light from the TV was very annoying at night. There was construction work that began early in the morning going on across the street from the hotel. This is not any fault of the hotel, but is mentioned for the information of future guests. Also, the internet is free but an access code still needs to be obtained from the front desk every 24 hours. This can be inconvenient when the 24 hour period ends in the middle of the night.It would be better if it was a fridge or a mini bar in the room!. Some minor points: The beds were fairly narrow. We stayed in the other section, having to go through the breakfast area and turn right into another building before using the lift/stairs. I got used to it, but I imagine older guests might not want to go through so many heavy doors. Also the hotel could offer some light snacks since there's nowhere in the area to eat late.Heating/cooling system in room did not work, but surely will be put into operation with time. Staff nice, eager to help, only some minor requests remained unanswered, for a harder small pillow or a working phone. One problem is the location of the luggage storage room for after check-out far away from the reception in the basement requiring a hotel person with the key each time to open. The room was quite small and got quite stuffy even with the a/c on 'cool'... but the space was well used and we just opened the window so it was not a major problem!.
