Great place to stay, secure, clean, affordable, comfortable apartment and friendly staff, with a location second to none, 10 mins walk from city centre and main u-bahn station, plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants in locality, particularly if you like asian food and a supermarket across the street. Would recommend staying here to everyone, a view shared by other guests we spoke with. really excellent location, in one of the many dynamic areas of the city. very clean apartment, small but adequate, and great value considering the price. shower worked well. for food shopping, just opposite is penny markt but much better is kaisers right by the nollendorf u-bahn. the schoneberg area is full of restaurants and interesting shops. can't recommend it highly enough.
all reviews » Great apartment! I just stayed there a few days ago and it was great. Very clean and nice. I am a freak about clean places to lodge considering I have way to many bad experiences. So, this one is great. The owner, Markus, was really nice. Some other reviews may say that it is too far away. Don't listen to them. It is not exactly in the city center but it is easy to get there. Very nice flat. Basic furniture, but very, very clean and comfy. Excellent for two couples, like we were. Markus was very friendly and helpful. Also, flat was very close to West Berlin city centre (2.5 km). The apartment is in a great area and is very comfortable and well-equipped. Markus was very friendly and helpful. If we return to Berlin (and I hope we will!) we will definitely stay here again. The apartments are situated close to the Nollendorf U-bahn station - A short walk of about 5 minutes will take you there. There is no internet connectivity available at the hotel, but there is an Internet parlor with generous opening hours across the street from the station. We hadn't realised towels were not supplied- only a very minor problem though. The CD player did not work and neither did the light in the Kitchen, but these were minor things. Add a kettle.evrything was excellent. There wasn't any towels.the bathroom had a leakage due to which we faced some problem. they can consider keeping a broom in the apartment for keeping the place clean over the few days that one stays there. also there was no knife in the kitchen. overall a very good apartment. The shower should be more modern and a kettle in the kitchen would be helpful.The bedsheets were somewhat moist on arrival - Probably because the window was left open overnight. This was not a problem on subsequent nights. The only thing that I did not like was not being able to put the heating on even for a few mins.A bit noisy since we could here people in the hallway as they were in the room. A broom for cleaning up a bit would be great. i chose this apartment only becouse of the good location.when i came the owner told me that the apartment is in another bilding 10-15 min wolking from the place that i chose . i told him that im very angry and i wont apartment in the place that i order and if he was told me that before i would not order this place. he told me that he have'nt any other place and he charge me 25euro less.The flat we stayed in was situated in an apartment block built in the60s, we reckon that this is the reason why we could hear noise fromadjacent flats. THe building was a bit noisy morning and evenings with travelers comingand going. No towels!!. Pillows really need to be changed. Pillows uncomfortable.Since this is not a hotel, there is no staff. However, the man responsible for checking in guests proved to be very irresponsible. If you stay here, don't expect any kind of service or even a response to your phone calls and requests. The hallways leading to the room. A little noisy at night time. The tv in my room was not woking so I have to spend 3 days in silence as I did not bring any cds for the hifi unit.

City Lodging Apartments are two small apartment buildings (Winterfeldtstrasse 72 and Winterfeldtstrasse 11), offering individual and comfortable accommodation in Berlin Schoeneberg.
Unfortunately, we do not have a reception desk! Therefore, we are not constantly present. Please inform us about your approximate time of arrival via email or telephone.
Payment due on the day of arrival in cash only. The credit card details are just a booking guarantee and can not be used for the payment.

Location: central, close to the train station "Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten". Only 10 minutes to the famous department store KaDeWe and only 4 subway stops to Potsdam Square. Numerous restaurants, pubs and cafés directly in the neighbourhood. Lively city centre but yet very quiet!
