On arrival we were given an upgrade and it really made our stay extra special. The decor of the hotel is fantastic. The staff are highly professional and could not do enough for us during in our stay. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Wonderful greatly designed hotel with special atmosphere. We really apprecciated that hotel upgraded our suite to penthouse pavillion - exceptional 3-floor separatle standing building with great spa area inside. The staff was incredible and more along the lines of what I wuld expect from a 5 star hotel. The gentleman who works during the evenings got us an unforgetable dinner after 9 pm on Valentines Day. The hotel is superb. It's small and perfectly designed. Luxurious but not gaudy. Also the small feel of the hotel makes it feel so private and is such a refreshing change from the big business hotels that feel cold and generic. We booked from a courtyard where our apartment had fallen through, in the very nice neighborhood where it and Chomel are located, t 8:30 p.m. Arrived at 8:40. The price was more than a hundred dollars a night less than the others in the area. The front desk person was wonderful. The rooms were small and a bit tired, but clean and the showers were hot with lots of pressure. Good internet.
