The hotel was all in all excellent! It is located north from the Montparnasse Metro-station, just meters from the St.Placide Metro- station. The rue de Rennes is a commercial street with many shops, boulangeries and cafes. The hotel itself is a brand new boutique hotel, decorated with very good taste and the room was super clean and comfortable. The bed was very very comfortable after a long day in the museums and strolling around, with even a choice of variety of pillows with different support.

At Legend the beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms are a bit more generous, and the elevator is actually large. The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating, as well as professional. Moreover, the location is perfect for first-time visitors since you are near a major rer station (Montparnasse) and can virtually go anywhere in the city. And the breakfast they serve has many cold cho. We loved everything about this hotel. The staff are amazingly friendly, the rooms are superb - the breakfast and little garden area just simply make the start if your day great! The location is 10min walk away from st Germaine, 15 min from louvre, 20 min from Eiffel- in one afternoon we did a your of Paris starin from the hotel and coming back to it. Just perfect! We'll definitely be back here and will choose this little 3star over a number of 4 or 5 star hotels any day. Definitely recommended. We enjoyed the location walking distance to main attractions StGermain, Quartier Latin, le Louvre etc...and bus 95 is a min walk to Opera and Big stores Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. The best location! The rooms are lovely with fantastic comfortable beddings and decoration is amazing. Breakfast buffet is generous and atmosphere very cosy. Total trip time from cdg airport was 45 minutes with a transfer in Gare du nord. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed and wide varieties of pillows to choose from. Large hd tv. Rooms are right above a busy street, but the soundproof windows were really good at making the room quiet. Very strong water pressure for the shower. The staff are very sweet and welcoming. And although The room and hotel overall are tiny-Smallest I've been in - The comfort of the big tempur bed and the design of the room made up for that. Slept so well and was very happy with my room overlooking the rue de Rennes ! Breakfast??? Yummmm! All the cakes fruits eggs cereal yoghurt. Everything was delicious. Personally, I loved this hotel and would definitely stay there again!. The locations was in walking distance to many of the most visited landmarks. If you are sensitive to street noise, try to book a "Garden Room" which faces the interior of the hotel. A room facing the street, while prettier, can be very noisy since Rue de Rennes is a major thoroughfare. No room service but for the size if the hotel it is easily forgiven. They accommodated when possible and the food places around are abundant. Nothing. The shower didn't have a curtain or glass door, so after every shower the bathroom floor would be flooded, with water sometimes spilling into the bedroom. Not too much of a issue for the guest but more for the hotel. For the price, wish the breakfast buffet was included. Two things we would like to see improved : Towels. Most of the towels were stained. Food. There is a menu if you want to order dinner or lunch but it rakes an hour as the food is delivered to the hotel. Nothing particular. I was put in a room with only a shower -- no bathtub. Their was no shower door; therefore, water went everywhere, all over the tiny bathroom. Very messy. Rue de Rennes is a very, very busy street and so the street noise often kept me awake at night, or woke me up in the morning. I noticed that I and many other guests took what we thought was a boiled egg at the breakfast table and it turns out to be raw. no signage for cooking your own egg. This results in a huge waste of eggs unfortunately. Strange set up for North Americans. Design of shower. Nothing. The internet was to slow so this was not suitable for a business trip. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Nothing really - room was small but we expected that in Paris. the bed and pillows were not great but that could be because it was not what we were used to. the room was really small. Air conditioning is close to non existent, we missed our flight because the recommended shuttle service and time of departure given to us by the front desk. Spent 9 hours in cdg waiting for the next flight and paid a 200$ penalty to the airline. While the hotel was otherwise flawless, this robbed of us an entire day in Dublin. Adding insult to injury we were "in Paris" but at the airport. Needless to say this is enough to lower my opinion of an otherwise great stay considerably. With luggage, the room was too crowded. Not very central (20 minutes by Metro) but in since area none the less. Smal room comparing the price. But than again "it's Paris"!. No drawers to organize clothes. High price. Rooms very small for 2 girlfriends travelling together. The room is too small for this price. The view from the room wasn't great. The "dreamcatcher" installation in the middle of an otherwise beautifully used space; the single tiny, ever-so-slow lift for 6 floors. Shame the breakfast was 15 Euro per person for a selection of pastries - Continental breakfast. Nothing at all. Central location to the Metro line, but not necessarily in a quaint neighborhood. No kettle for making hot drinks. The bath is very dangerous. Room to small. A little far from the city of saint Germaine... Very small rooms.
