My daughter and I stayed at Hotel Home Latin in February 2013 for one night. We arrived at the hotel around 7:30 am straight from CDG airport, and the hotel had a room ready for us. The man at the front desk was polite and accommodating. Internet was free and worked well. The location is great. We really liked the beds - they were clean and very comfortable. My daughter liked the two windows in the room. The heating worked well. We could leave our luggage for a few hours after we checked out.

Its very much ideal for a city break but I would guard against expecting too much. The twin room was a bit small. There was construction work across the street which began at 7 am and ended around 5 pm. In the room next to our hotel room (a room not in the hotel itself, perhaps in a neighboring flat), there was some hammering noise during the day. Breakfast was not included. The shower doors were very squeeky (they needed a little WD-40). There was nothing I didn't like about Home Latin. coffee pot was a nightmare--never got it to work properly-no instructions. Only negative was that fridge did not work - I am sure something would have been done if we had asked. Breakfast not included with pricey rate. I have only stayed in the hotel outside of the summer months but it could be uncomfortably hot for some. In addition it can be a tad noisy at times given the rooms are not sound proof. The three-person room was extremely small with a double and a single bed crammed into the space that should have been occupied by the double bed alone. When the third person was taking a shower at about 9:30, the hot water was lukewarm. Sometimes lifts don't work. It happens. I am sure it was repaired after we left. The main problem is that there is no air-conditioning. For me, it is ok since I lived in Paris before, but for my friends from HK, it was hard for them. It is better to at least put a fan in the room. breakfast room not at the same level of the rest of the hotel. Wifi did not work at all. Room was extremely small and they did not refresh any of the toiletries. Hallway to our room was so tight we could barely open the door. Nothing. No air-conditioning. No air conditioning in room and in late July was just too hot for me. No fans, ice machine. you could hear traffic noice. Everything was good. Prices are steep in Paris, so the price is high for what you get.. The bathroom was a little narrow when you are on toilet your knees basically touch the wall in front of you. The room is small. And our room was looking at the space in between the buildings, so not enough daylight. Nothing all good - doesn't have things like ironing board etc if you need that from a hotel. The bathroom was small. The decoration in the toilet is a bit old style, and the toilet is a bit small. small room, running water and toilet noise from room above, we stayed in room 123. No Wi-Fi in my room. Not so friendly staff. "Assence" was the only helpful one. Not sure of spelling of his name. Breakfast area very un-appealing. n/a. There was construction accross the street and we were not informed when booking. The drilling with a chipping hammer would wake us every day. Although the hotel had free Wi-Fi, it was not accessible from my room (#152). Beds and pillows very hard. Small rooms. The wifi is extremely slow and for most of time it did not work!!!. No elevador, quite noisy. The worst thing was that they did not supply the refrigerator of the room with water and other soft drinks I had consumed in The day before. Even worse, I called to the reception but they informed that the stock was empty. I had to go outside the hotel to buy water at 2am and it was really freezing!. Beds were terribly small, and mattress had a plastic over it that made a most awful noise. Small rooms. t.v. did not work, even on french channels. nothing. The room was incredibly small. But that didn't bother us as much as the fact that there was no air conditioning and when we opened the windows it was incredibly noisy until the wee hours of the morning, making it difficult to sleep. We booked late and did not have the best of rooms, but it was ok. too small room for two persons: small wardrobe, small bathroom; dirty towels; poor breakfast; too expensive for this level of comfort.
