Exciting opportunity to experience 19th century villa living. The
hillside setting is outstanding; complete with lovely gardens. The home
is impressive with its inlaid flooring and antique furnishings. Our room
had two floor-to-ceiling shuttered windows giving us a wonderful view of
the harbor and sea.
The hosts are extremely welcoming; eager to share the history of their home and local area. They also were generous providing guidance on interesting activities, sites and restaurants.

We came to Nice for honeymoon and originally I booked a hotel by the
beach, till I saw Villa Vermorel's breathtaking scenary from our
bedroom. Thegreat service of the host and her cute granddaughter made
our stay really memorable. We also had a good chat with the guests of
the other room and it felt like a family. Nice port and old town is just
25 minutes away on foot, so we were happy to be able to exercise a bit
off the great food here. All in all I would highly recommend this place
to anyone.
This is a private villa located in a mountain owned by an older couple. They are really nice and helpful. If you take train to there, you can take No. 30 to the villa: get out of the station, turn left and go down a bridge, and you will find the bus station. No.30 can drive you to there and the bus station is just in front of the villa. I suggest you to live in the sea-view room, the view is awesome and you won't regret!.

We booked the room facing the seaside. It is a larger room in the ancient villa. It is clean and comfort. The villa owner couple is considerate and prepare the breakfast for us. Also, it is happy to have conversation with them. It is the meanin of travel.

Easy to get around Nice by catching bus just a bit down the road from house.

Big hill to walk up from railway station but easily accessible with no. 30 bus.
It was a long down hill walk into Nice and an equally long uphill trek back. Would be difficult for someone with walking issues. However there are buses one can use.
it's hard to find even i have a GPS...
