The beds were very comfortable - firm, but not rock hard like some ofthe other hotels we stayed in. The staff, particularly the young man whoregistered us, were very helpful. They all spoke excellent English. Wealso appreciated the fact that school groups were accommodated on otherfloors, so were not disturbed by them. Having the shuttle bus was alsoan excellent bonus. Should have been told about all the bikers from denmark staying at thehotel and their noisey bikes. Service in the restaurant at dinner on Sunday evening was horrid. It took 30 minutes to place our order. An hour later no one had appeared again at our table and there was no food. After seeking them out and being assured the food was on its way, we waited another hour before leaving. There was no explanation or apology then, nor the next morning when we saw the restaurant manager at breakfast. If you need to iron any clothes, bring an extension lead with you as the hotel irons do not have sufficient chord length, making it impossible to iron anything unless it is done kneeling on the floor.32 Euros ($50 at current rates) is exhorbitant for breakfast! ! Even the airport was less expensive. the hotel is quite far from the centre of Nice and taxi's are expensive at night.Lack of minibar in room. Same as above. From checkout to departing for the airport by shuttle bus was too long. It took 30 minutes before a shuttle bus was available to depart for the airport. Qualiy of buffet breakfast was poor.Service not very good at breakfast no clean tables no bowls and plates. Too hot in the room, airco was not working and the room could not be opened.The reception staff was fine. However, the staff in the restaurant wasnot as good. They were not very polite. The standard was not 4 star definitely... And the service was terrible, especially at breakfast - non-existent service and rude waiters... Uh - and the hotel is practically at the airport... Good neighbours - the planes ...The only reason the hotel had a four star rating was because it had atiny swimming pool... The restaurant was terrible and the bar wasoverpriced... There was no fridge in the room and the room was verynoisy as the hotel was between a motorway and train tracks... Thelocation to the airport was convenient, but it was so far from Nice towncenter that it wasn't practical (35 Euro in a taxi!). beware bar drinks are very expensive indeed.The staff speak english little bit and you can't understand with them; the program of swimming pool is not respect .The hotel staff is not respond about the car in the parking of the hotel who is inside and they aren't respond if it is rubbery in the hotel. In the first day function only one elevator and in the second day the booth elevators are broken. The airport pick up took an hour.The resturant was poor. long waiting for check in,long wait no staff in the bar,small dinning menu and not all choices avalible. No exit from fifth floor other than lifts or forcing fire exit.When we arrived there was only one person dealing with check-ins, guest problems and answering the phone - so it took some time to get to our room, which we couldn't get into because the key didn't work. Once we finally got into the room the cot we had ordered wasn't there so we had to wait for that to be brought up too.
