Staff were gracious, room was good (and we're fussy!), location was great. the whole experinece was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and would stay there again if going to nice. Breakfast was rather pricey at 21 euros but no different to other similar hotels. Breakfast was a bit pricy and more expensive than quoted on bookings.com web site (this was possibly the tax). The food, however, was excellent. no balconies to the bedrooms. They should not recommend Car Hire. Elite Car Service was poor. In hindsight I should have use dmy customary Hertz. the concierge. Overprices Internet access (no wireless on the 2nd floor). So-called sea view room. Sea can be seen only from right corner of the apartment looking to the left. The drinks (beer wine etc) were far too expensive and as a consequencewe did not use the restaurant and had our meals out.tables in the conservatory were set for lunch at 10 am - breakfast was available until 10:30 - so after 10:00 you could not sit in the conservatory. not facing the ocean, so ocean view is only angle view. The fact that it is not situated where the address implies, but in a side streeet off the Promenade. The 'Superior Sea-View' room was therefore nothing like expected and one had to almost lean out of the window to catch a glimpse of the sea. I shall be complaining formally to the hotel on this matter. carpark overpriced ,WLAN did not work as it should, even not against payment (not able to send emails). The view could have been better. Seeing the see when having your head pressed against the window is not a sea view room. Over charged on final bill - Look at you final bill total before paying!. prices to eat or drink in hotel too high, they do not allow outside food or drink to be brought in, windows do not open in rooms if you choose sea view side, a long walk to any restaurants and cafes, would not recommend this hotel in hot weather, the air conditioning even on high all day did not cool room much, this hotel is at the far west end of the promenade and it is a long walk to anything. Could do with coffee/tea making facilites in the room and some of the furniture could do with some repair around the base of the drawers.I left a wallet by mistake but it was not found!. the furniture in the room. This hotel is old and needs repairs. overpriced breakfasts,and the hot food available always cold ! coffee lukewarm,on at least three occasions there were no croissants and had to ask staff if there were more.Drinks/food at the pool very overpriced and food freezing ,took three attempts to get wardrobe fixed, after asking at reception,carpets ragged and dangerous on 5th floor,no sea view as was stated, and hotel long way from centre.room need hot water boiler and free internet. Cost of drinks, 18 euros for two small drinks!!!!.

Please note that the rooftop terrace with the summer restaurant and the pool is located on the 8th floor and is not accessible for people with reduced mobility as the elevator only stops at the 7th floor and there is one floor with stairs to access the terrace.
