The staff was so helpful and went out of their way to help us witheverything. The front desk people were great the bellmen were great, thebar people and room service were all great. Location was the best! Bedswere so comfortable. I wanted to just move in and stay there. We stayed at the hotel westend first for the location and it is fantastic. The staff was very helpfull and attentive. We had a marvellous stay and we will come back!.

The furniture and staircases etc could do with a complete refurb. Very small rooms (however typical in France), small bathroom, quite dirty carpet. i had the wrong account with price of breakfasts, that i have never been eated!!! but i had no time, and have paid it. we were as couple, and couldn't ate some breakfasts again at the same morning!!!!!!!!. There is no place for smokers. the restaurant staff did not keep an eye out for people sitting in the lounge who wanted serving a drink. No tea making facilities in the room.Room was very small. Air conditioning did not work and room was uncomfortably hot and required that we had to sleep with balcony door open and as a result was very noisy. Hotel did provide a small fan. This is not really a 4 star hotel. Parking at EUR 21 too expensive. the staff very not helpful at all ,had to ask 5 times at breakfast for hot water in order to have tea. the staff and the lack of willingness to help you. The noise from the road in a sea view room The breakfast far too expensive. Hugely expensive then 1750 euro each on top for brekfast and 17eauroeach to visit the hotel beach. Room was too small and I have definitelly been in cleaner hotels.I arrived to the hotel at 10.00am and check-in time was 14:00, they kept me waiting in the lobby additional 45min and I got the room at 14:45. Also, I kept a small bag at the reception the first day I arrived, when asking about it the next day, they told me it is not available!!!. Yes: better management. The hotel has everything to be excellent, but it miss someone who supervises details like personel training, cleaness, more English speakers, previous arrangements for parking in the neighbor Massena P, etc. small rooms for family and poor view (if not sea view). Looked a bit dirty, worn-out from inside despite the excellent outer appearance.
