The room was very comfortable and had opening windows in the bed area as well as the bathroom. This was the nicest bathroom of our trip! The service was excellent--Valerie and Werner were charming. The breakfast room, although small, is enhanced with an aquarium. The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do while in Lyon. As in a lot of te house of the St-Jean quarter, there is a small open courtyard in the middle of the building; people were often smoking in this courtyard, making impossible to have the window open without being in the cigarette smoke. dangerous electrics particularly in shower. The hotel does not have an own parking lot. So, the parking is little bit far and might cost a lot. There is no elevator in the hotel. The breakfast for EUR 6 is very basic. There is neither cheese, nor yogurt, nor salami.

On the place Saint Paul, go to your left along the tobacco and newspaper shop: our property is located on the right hand side at the beginning of the pedestrian street.
- From the Perrache Station: exit at the Charlemagne gate, take the bus n°91 in direction of Saint Paul until you reach its terminus in front of the hotel.
