We really enjoyed our stay. The school themed design is quirky and original. Our 6th rooms were light, airy, comfortable and stylish with exceptional views from the balcony. The breakfast was good (pastries, cheese, ham, yoghurts, freshly squeezed juice, coffee in thermos flasks - very school trip!). The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially the man on reception during the day and the night porter. It was very good value for the location, right in the old town near lots.

Having failed to be alerted on your website to the hotel's limited parking, we were saved from a fruitless search around Vieux Lyon for a space by the receptionist's thoughtfulness and consideration. Can't wait to return. Excellent location in the centre of the old town, they have a great charcuterie bar which is open late (great for us as we arrived when all the restaurants had finished last orders). The decor is functional and simple - it is not as luxurious as those we would normally stay in but we just stopped by briefly for one night for which the price and location was right. The welcome was extremely good. The reception was knowledgeable and very helpful. It was good to have secure parking in the centre of Lyon and the location of the hotel was excellent for the medieval area as well as the shopping centre. Breakfast was copious and good quality. the staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly. the decor in the lobby and breakfast area was so unique, funky and comfortable. the location was fantastic to wander both vieux lyon as well as the shopping district just across the river. The hotel used to be an interesting and nice hotel some years ago. The location in vieux Lyon is really good. We were refunded one night when we complainef about the below mentioned things. Loved the location and the outside terrace and the general decor when you came in. Thought the parking was very secure. Even though on a busy street it was well soundproofed. Can't think of any negatives. Our room was a bit small, but functional. The bathroom as well, but everything worked. the very ideal location, with lots of eating and drinking spots on the doorstep, sadly means some street noise during the night. Room was quite small though well-equipped Some street noise though not enough to keep us awake on the 5th floor. Nothing. The all white decor can make the room feel and bit cold. No facilities for hot drinks in room Coffee not availible from bar After 8.30. When we arrived the heating in our room did not work, as didn't either the television set, and a broken ventilation set at the window couldn't be closed. The bathroom was left with cigaret ashes in the window. The home page describes that rooms in the category 3rd cycle is either with a balcony or a private terrasse but this was not the case for our room eventhough sold as a room in this category. Thought that the room was very basic for the money paid for it. White is nice but needs to be painted and kept looking fresh which it didnt. The wet room idea is nice but doesnt work for such a small bathroom and everything got wet then. I think it is perfect for people wanting to explore vieux lyon but didn't think it was value for money compared to other hotels I have stayed in.
