Situated in the centre of Nice and within a couple of minutes walk of the main railway station, the hotel had a pretty Mediterranean courtyard garden. The rooms overlooked the garden and hence the hotel was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a relaxing atmosphere. The Promenade des Anglais is an easy 10 minute walk. Would stay there again.

I have stayed in the Excelsior several times and as I have friends who live in Nice and I can visit them easier as I now know my way to their house. I first stayed in the Excelsior with the Travel Department. I found both the rates and the location were good. - Location was very convenient. It was close to shopping, eating and sights to see.

We stayed here only for the last night of our holiday, because it was very near the Railway Station (we had no car) and the stop for the Airport bus was only 50 metres from the door. So it was an ideal departure point. We enjoyed a short swim in the pool on level 1.
We did not have breakfast. -

Super location: It is in the direct line between the railway station and the beach. We can easily walk from the station to the hotel (5 minutes with a down hill) and then walk down to the beach (8 minutes maximum) to enjoy the beautiful sea view.
