  My wife and i stayed 7 nights in a huge cabin. We loved the place. Even as outside was minus 20 celcius, inside of the cabin was always confortable and hot. The cabin has everything we need. The kitchen is great and we cooked every day. Bathroom is also huge and water is very hot and the pression is excellent. They als - The owners. Both were very helpful to us. Due to an error within letsbookhotel.com our chalet had been double-booked. The couple that owns Ukonjärven worked very hard and did their best to mitigate and solve a problem that they had not even caused. Be it borrowing equipment or being picked up/dropped off in Ivalo or Inari we felt very well taken care of. Mrs Takkinen is also a great cook and dinner was not at all expensive for what we got (give it a try!). The location on the banks of Lake Inar

  The Cottage owner, Mr Henri, is extremely extremely helpful and friendly. He gave great recommendations on multiple tours/activities at splendid prices with extended offerings! The cottage with sauna we stayed in was cozy and clean! It is able to house up to 6 people with both the upper and lower deck. There is also a river behind the cott - A wonderful hotel with a very hospitable owner. It's a great choice if you want to take a rest from the city rush and plunge into quiet nature. It's a good place to watch the auroras. They are quite frequent in this region, so you should only pray for clear sky (we got to see one show, although it was not very active).

  This hotel offers the best value in the Ivalo area. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They even brought out the husky puppies for my kids to cuddle. The guesthouse looks very new and clean and has a common cooking facility which is fantastic! Outi and her family were great hosts and the meals that were prepared for guests were absolutely delicious. There are plenty of husky dogs on the property that you can visit (especially the puppies!) and if you have the opportunity, you definitely need to do a husky safari.   I stayed at Hotel Ivalo for 2 nights. The reception is friendly and helpful. The food served at breakfast was decent and I had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant as well. As I was on a hunt for aurora, the availability of wifi in the room, though I need to do some hunting for a good spot, was helpful for me. My stay in Hotel Ivalo definitely made my wh - My room was spotlessly clean, the room design was lovely, really comfy bed. Reception and all the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and really welcoming. That was so great to be able to check-in early. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the supermarkets, and the centre of the town. I had a really relaxing stay there. Would recommend to everybody!!   Very cool place, the staffs are friendly and can speak very good English (but the mother doesn't speak English), surprisingly there are wifi in this remote area. - the service is very nice!!!! the room is small but warm. have microwave, fridge and coffee machine
