Worth considering as a base if you're motorcycle touring like I was. Free parking for the motorbike in the hotel car park. Conveniently located for the metro service into town with regular services. The hotel is good value when you look at how much it costs elsewhere in Copenhagen. I loved my stay at Cabinn Metro. It is located in a modern and hightech quarter of the city, with impressive Danish architecture, a fabulous shopping centre not three minutes away and public transport readily available at basically all times, close to five minutes away. The rooms are very cosy and really have all you need. The next time I come to Copenhagen, I'm definitely booking a room here. This is a spectacular looking building with free parking near a megamall in the developing suburb of Orstad near the airport. Close to LRT. not assigned room as requested but staff rectified. It is a good effort to have functional affordability with design pluses. Best tv and computer stations (free) that I had in Denmark. convenient for airport. We like the location of the hotel - near the train station to airport and to the city, and rigt next to Fields, a large mall. Thus it was very convenient to find food and to get to the city. It's around 8 mins away from metro and s-train station. We arrived Cph in the mid-night so we took taxi to there. In main hall there are three good computer to go on web; wi-fi is free; the bed is good; the hotel is far 300 mt only from the metro and the bigger shopping center of the city. Main hall is open 24h. Chek-out is at 11 a.m. but you can leave all luggage in a safe room for all the day. The air conditioning did not seem to work efficiently in my room on the twelfth floor.The hotel's housekeeping never cleaned my room before 5 p.m. each afternoon.Many times there were long lines at the reception desk and guests had to stand in line a long time before being assisted by desk clerks. The breakfast. I could have gotten better bread at One Stop a block away for cheaper. The only fruit was whole apples. It was the worst breakfast I had in Europe. (But still way healthier than American hotel breakfasts so congrats on that! :). Little bit far away from the train station. We had a "Captain Room" which was described as spacious. We were unable to pass each other in the room so be prepared for unbelievably tight quarters. The size of the room and bathroom was not representative of the price. We stayed in far larger rooms in central Copenhagen for less money but had to stay here due to the downtown hotels being booked because of a tattoo festival. The rooms are very small and bath is very small too. The location is far from city centre and you have to use metro to go to the centre. The economy twin bed rooms has two bed that one of them is on top. The hotel does not have any lundry and we did not eat its breakfast because it has extra price. Would have liked it to be closer to the Tivoli Gardens, but I learned to take the train and walked alot. Really nothing to complain about. All issues with the room, resolved quickly. It would be nice if they provided a small space/table to set luggage on. Check in was terribly slow despite there being lots of staff around, and the wifi was a bit variable, and only really worked if I stood next to the door in my room. Room was a bit small (but that was expected from the room description) Mattress was too soft for my liking (but again, that is subjective). Ensuite shower room was small, especially if you are tall like myself and is contained in the actual toilet rather than a separate shower unit. Rooms are very small, but in fairness, this is the only distinction that describes the hotel as "budget" and not "luxury". There were some defects in the toilet, the flush did not work in one and in the replacement room, water leaked to the floor. The bathroom was a little crammed. A small rack to place some toiletries would be helpful. Also the TV height could not be adjusted hence a little uncomfortable to crane one's neck for too long. The upper bad is to high, hard to climb up and down. The room service itself doesn't put the sheets in the upper bad, and the guest needs to do that, what is a very hard work because of the highness. I didn't like the fact that people are paying 70kr for a lackluster breakfast. No eggs. No sausage. No bacon. No pancakes. Etc. Very small room size. No air conditioning. Taxi ordered from reception to airport more expensive then normal fee Water coming out the wrong place in bathrooms - happen to me 3 times now the last year. That I had not chosen Cabinn Metro for my whole stay!. My room was a bit small with a narrow bed, but I knew it before. The rooms are tiny -- especially the bathrooms. The elevators might as well be non functional in the morning because of how small they are, how tall the building is, and how many people are checking out. Claustrofobic room size,with micro sized bathroom. Slow check in. Room size is ok for one person, but may be small for two. Dangerously hot spotlight lamps on the lower bunk headboard. They need a mesh or something to prevent physical contact with cushions or skin. The elevators were a bit buggy. The over zealous parking attendants. That we had to pay for parking. TV not adjustable in position. Only the person on the upper decker of the bunk bed can watch. Everything was as expected. Didn't really need anything more on the last night of vacation. Narrow bunk beds Small bathroom with no floor divide for the shower meaning entire floor gets wet. A real bar would have been nice. This part is too basic. Bed was just a little too narrow for a rather large woman like me. Surrounding area is rather barren of life except for shopping mall. Maybe not having a small gym.. :-) - but that wouldn't stop me from staying again ..
