The location of Absolon Hotel cannot be beat. The owner/manager was very helpful and friendly (as was all of the staff). We also liked the all day snack bar and beverages that were available. Nice and helpfull staff, comfortable bed, excellent breakfest, good space in bathroom, clean and kosy rooms.Great breakfast, had some TV channels in english. very nice staff. Excellent location. It was large and airy, up on the 5th floor in the eaves. Breakfast was very nice with a wide range of choices.the Hotel staff was kind. On the opposite side of station to main city centre of copenhagen, area is red light but they are doing a lot to clean it up. A little noisy at times --- the walls are thin if you have loud neighbors. There was a smell from the bath drain. And yes you could hear most things in the corridor from your room. Noise insulation is not very good. We asked for a quiet room and were given a room on the courtyard, which was fine. Unfortunately it was also just across from the laundry closet, which was opened and closed repeatedly by staff from 6 a.m. on... Only two negative points, 1. The hair dryer at the bath room was really poor 2. The breakfest was great, but the cheese smelled and tasted like dirty socks. More mild cheese would be appreciated. The (bath)room was a bit old-fashioned and the bed was too small for me (around 1.9 m) to be really comfortable. Nothing too worrisome, though. Breakfast bland, no greens at all.. Why cant they even offer a few cucumber slices?Free wireless internet in room would have been nice.Very basic cheap bedroom furniture for a 3 star hotel. No exercise facilities. Cost of hotel, but Copenhagen is more expense than other Cities. No extras in the bathroom not even soap. When cleaning rooms, doors to several rooms were left open unattended by maids. Increases risk of unauthorized access to rooms (re. theft). 'double' bed was two singles pushed together.Awful.Rooms are small and very old fashioned except for the deluxe room which are good. noise - You can hear your neighbours doing sport - plus located along a passing road. Prostitutes all around; We changed the room and it became better - level of service differs depending on the kind of room you get.
