I was only there an afternoon and a half night on my way back home to the USA, but I got a really good impression of the place. I would have loved to stay there a few days and really take in the surroundings and the farm itself. Thomas gave me a very friendly welcome and ordered a taxi to come for me at 3:45 AM (it was there promptly at 3:45). The bedroom and sitting area were beautiful and comfortable, the views great, the bed wonderful, everything was extremely clean and neat, and the price . all reviews »
We've spend two days in Billund as a transit point between two Ryanair flights and we've never regretted that we planned this long layover. Actually we've missed this beautiful farm later on.
We've liked very much all the outdoor facilities available on the farm, incl. football field, trampoline, pedal cars, grille etc.
There is a "home-made zoo" with lot of wonderful animals, including yaks, deers, ostriches, horse, donkey, rabbits etc which is very interesting for the kids.
This place is idea.
Perfect for my 5 year old, she could cuddle the bunnies, pet the horse, look at austriches and lamas, jump on a trampoline, play with the puppy, and watch tv at night.
Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Supernice staff who could help us with anything at any time. After a long day in legoland we ordered take away to the camping.
The friendly owners, the cleanliness, the house, the farm (they have a
wonderful farm with many animals: lamas, ostriches, emus, buffaloes,
horses, rabbits, ducks etc). Great location if you're traveling by
car. The owners were very kind to pick me up from the main street and
then drive me to the airport when I left.

It was close to the airport, but still nicely in the countryside. The owner was very friendly and it was no problem that we arrived late. There was a free coffee and tea facility and a large room to use by all guests.

You should have your own car, because a taxi charges 150 DKK for a trip to the city/legoland/lalandia. There is a bus, but it doesn't go too often.
It is not possible to make food when you stay in double rooms, but you can put things in the fridge and ask for forks/knives.
A bit uncomfortable to reach for somebody traveling by bus, as it's
almost 1km away from the main street, on a country road (unpaved).

Rooms and facilities were simple but OK. Shower water smelled a bit strange. Flies had a tendancy to get into the rooms somehow...
It is impossible to prepare a hot meal.
That the beds weren't made when we arrived and that we had to pay extra for towels and bedlinen.

We had a so called family room, a small room full of beds. Old and
smelly. Sharing a very ugly and un maintained bathroom and sharing a
kitchen. These rooms where in the side building, the feeling is to stay
in a container in rooms of the 70s. Really a bad experiece.
