We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Prague (despite some poor weather) and in particular here in U Lilie. The accomodation has been first class and the staff/owners have been superb. By the way the breakfast is second to none. We also had a meal one night and it was excellent too. If we return to Prague we would certainly come to U Lilie. 1. Very friendly helpfull reception stuff. Speak good English. 2. Located very central. All main sightseeings are just around the corner. 3. In spite being so central, its quiet at nights. At least for those who have windows to the inner yard. 4. All the furnitures in the romm are very simple, but not shabby/broken. Very clean room.
all reviews » Location is perfect. The staff is very friendly, polite and really welcoming. Looking forward to the end of some mending in the yard - it's going to be very cosy there! Nice food for breakfast: cereals, eggs, cheese, sausages, milk, juice, coffee & tea, fruits... rooms are rather big, as well as beds are fair big!. Old and new city, the location of Pension U Lilie to both of theses places meant we didn't have to rely on transport. The room we had was very large, the cleaner was in every day. The staff were very attentive ensuring our stay was excellent. Would recommend the place to anyone. Good location right inside the old town , a bit of the main road though. The restaurant is really good and cheap. Nice beer. The rooms are spacious and we were surprised to find that the rooms were cool without any ac or fan.The guest house has a homely atmosphere. Unfortunately there was some drilling/works going on next door so that wasn't the best, but not the hotel's fault. Not enough toilet needs..no soap in the shower, heater inside the room while breakfast is very less in selection..i even notice some not so cleaned plates on the table, you need to select a much cleaner one.. no lift up to third floor. small room, hotel rather run down. Inside yard should be repaired as it looks like a ruins. Nothing. Not a 5 Star but it was a very good value. breakfast could be better. The rooms could use some refreshment. There was a chlorine stench in the bathroom. Breakfast is just so so. Bare minimum comfort but clean. A bit pricey, but paying for location. bathroom needed a good clean. The hotel's hot water system is problematic. I stayed 3 nights in a single room in attic floor and I could have hot water only once. The hotel really need to fix it!!. Received room nr 15 right at top, very cramped and small, banged my head a few times. Notices other rooms are bigger! Noisy at nights with small window open but its almost a given giving the location, so ok. The washing up basin and shower were blocked, a few seconds and you are standing in a pool of your used water. No hot water or heating the 2nd day (3 days in Prague) but was fixed later. Room very old and outdated. In the room was very cold.
