This hostel is for those people who come to Prague in order to enjoy sightseeing, be outside much more time rather than stay at the hotel. The Pension Dobroucky is comfortable for either family or just group of friends. The price conforms to the quality. It is not so far from the metro station, just 15 minutes by foot. It's even better that the hostel is located not in the centre of Prague cause you can have a rest from noise and bustle.
all reviews » No-nonsense place fairly near Prosek metro station a short ride from Prague city centre. Surprisingly good breakfast, friendly and laid-back owners, fast wi-fi. I usually avoid very cheap places in Prague as they're often packed with smoking, drinking gastarbeiter, but this place is a world away from them. No TV in the room which I see as a big plus. This hotel is about the best value that I have ever gotten at a hotel. The staff was great, the rooms freshly decorated, parking perfect,wifi fast, food and drink good, value excellent. Anyone going to an event at the O2 arena, it is only 5-6 Euro away by taxi, in the direction opposite of where all the traffic goes, and quiet. This place is cozy, clean and only around 15mins from the downtown. Breakfast is all-you-can-eat and there's a plenty of choice too. A great place to stay when you're on budget, the staff was always helpful and smiling. I slept in a small room, but with standard facilities. You don't need more for this money. Very friendly staff. Basic breakfast, but good! Metroline Prosek is 10 min walk and in 10 min you are in the center of Prague. Perfect location - You will get a view of the Prague panorama as did not see ever before! The owner advised me a car parking place near the city centre. The location on a very busy road may not be to some people's liking though I could hear no traffic noise in my room. There are no restaurants or shops around the hotel, and they don't serve meals, except a nice breakfast. You need to make sure you dine before returning back to the hotel. wifi didn't work well!. Nothing really. Nothing. Everything was ok. Mattress was a little worn and I didn't sleep too well the first night. my dislikes are really as a result of being old and disabled so no lift and its a long way from a bus stop when you cant walk far. but these were obvious before i booked so i lived with it,not the hotels fault. No TV, no space. The blanket, sheets and pillow wasnt clean.
