The hotel is very quiet and cozy. On the arrival the receptionest give us all informations about the public transport and map, which was very helpfull. THe staff is kind and the breakfast was great!!. Helpfull staff and good breakfast. I will come back. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming,the hotel (although outof the centre) had easy access to trams and buses. Free internet inlobby and beautiful decor.

Nice reception and staircase areas heavely decorated with arts, both paintings and metalwork.Fine breakfast and hotel room. Clean bathroom. We received vouchers for welcome drinks, but could not use then in thehotel bar since Absinthe was not there (we were shown an empty bottle),and it could not be substituted by any other drink. This is not a bigthing, but it brought a negative point to overall very positiveimpression. Some days there was a shortage of hot water for shower.Decoration of room was quite boring, and the hotel described itself as romantic on this website (only superior rooms then probably). Everything was decent, but there is nothing extra in the atmosphere. Furthermore, though room and bathroom were clean, our towels were not changed during a five-night stay. During the winter, I think the heating would be stronger.location, a bit far away from city centre. The rooom was as big as a box for shoes and it was a bit tricky to manage this with two people. Also a light bulb was missing so we only had bright light - not very romantic! Requesting a new bulb didn't lead to anything.Breakfast wasnt marvellous, and the hotel is nowhere near the main attractions. Good 15mins tram ride (which take some negotiating but are cheap). And taxi from the airport cost approx £30 each way, so be careful. We didn't like the fact that it was not a 4 stars hotel room, as stated on the site.lack of English speaking news channel. Rooms were very cold; problem with the heating system. Staff took a very long time attending to guests during check-out. MAde a big fuss about apparently missing towse,l which after a long discussion, did turn up after all.the internet connection and the construction works. There was some construction being done, and they were starting at about5am every morning. The hotel should have notified the guests about this.It was a nightmare.Hotel location was not as described on website, hotel was not central but 7 or 8 tram stops away from Old Town. no tea and coffee making facilities in room. Sauna did not function. Vague reason... Not a 4*,needs air-con and better matresses.the staff at check in was rude, ou reserved room was not ready and they did not have a room for us. when they did, one of the rooms did not have air conditioning or a bathroom. they did not seem to care that our reservation was not honoured. location is bad, more like a 3-star hotel instead of 4, breakfast is poor, strong smell of smoke in the whole building, we live 3 nights but never change towels. Bar was not open, no food available. Swimming pool and sauna were under construstion. No bathrobes in rooms despite being advertised. Staff not interest in complaints, manager not on premises at all during weekend, blamed bookings.com for not advising its customers of lack of facilities even though they have not updated their own website. We moved hotels after 1st day. too small rooms, too bad and poor breakfast: and cofe and slice of sausage, cheese. (nothing to eat). sometimes there is not free table((( location is bad. Rooms were very cold; problem with the heating system. It's not a real 4 stars hotel, maybe 2 stars.
